Manage the daily activities of the branch office, with duties such as insurance claim processing (home, auto, life, mortgage, etc.), marketing, loss prevention, and underwriting. Hires, trains, and monitors the performance of new insurance agents. Provides updates to the regional manager regarding operating results, insurance trends, and competitor methods. provide guidance on more complex issues. Develops new business through selling and marketing activities. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Maintain and increase targeted budget. Resolving escalated issues arising from operations and coordinating with other departments with in the company.

 Managing the branch to achieve the growth and retention targets.
 Manage the day-to-day operation of the branch.
 Have the vision and drive to build and execute a business plan that encompasses financial, operating, staffing and marketing strategies.
 Motivate and lead a team of successful sales agents and create centers of influence.
 Coaching and mentoring staff within the branch to reach their full potential.
 Developing and implementing business plans and strategies.
 Building and expanding centers of influence in the company.

As a Business Development Manager

 Identifying business development opportunities.
 Presenting and consulting with business trends.
 Responsible for account development, cold calling, assessing client needs, and identifying solutions.
 Capturing significant competitive business and present optimum solutions.
 Managing relationships with various businesses to reach base business sales growth goals.
 Briefing and training the sales force to create product awareness and demand.
 Increasing brand awareness and bringing in new customers.
 Maintaining relationships with key clients.
 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve customer service experience.
 Prioritizing Business Relationship Management within the company.
 Identifying the needs of existing and potential customers and then ensuring that appropriate resources are committed to meeting those requirements.
 Representing the business at meetings with clients.
 Working closely with customers to ensure that they are getting the best from the business.
 Perform market research on competitive landscape and industry trends.
 Capitalizing on previous relationships and performed market research.
 Overseeing operational tasks for clients (major accounts) to continuously improve overall customer satisfaction.
 Collaborating with sales team to expand business development efforts, including contributing to annual profit plan and assist with the implementation and execution of such plans and tracking outcomes.
 Coordinating sales teams to propose new business
 Developing strong working relationships with internal team and clients.
 Preparing and presenting business reviews to the senior level management.
 Providing feedback and information about sophisticated market and trends.
 Tracking measurements and reports on results of business development initiatives.
 Working with the Sales team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives.
