Work highlights:
• Improve, implement and make policies for medical equipment management. Such as safety, acquisition, repairs, maintenance, and inventory.
• Installing and adjusting the medical equipment and provide training for clinical also nurses.
• Continually maintain all the hospital equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedule, conducting regular and annual tests. Following manufacturer’s instruction, and keep up to date reports and documentations.
• Categorize and schedule device maintenance routine based on risk level. To increase patient care while decreasing device downtime, with the service time distributed in a practicable manner throughout the annual service cycle.
• Work under the policy and guidelines of the JCI accreditations and DOH auditing.
• Renewing the federal authority of nuclear regulation license for the radiology department and provide them with the LTD badges every three months as required from DOH.
• Participated in The MRI scan machine project for refilling the liquid helium and rerun the machine.
• Provide administrative duties between the engineering department and various hospital departments.
• Coordinate with vendors, IT, and clinical staff in the installation of new medical equipment. And follow up with the manufacture regarding the warranties, PPM, and calibration, electrical safety tests, and training.
• Provide engineering and technical support to the laboratory and preparing to get the ISO certificate.
