Recently working as Shift charge engineer in 660 MW GE-ALSTOM ultra supercritical coal fired power station.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for smooth and safe start up and shutdown of the unit with
the application of relevant standard operating procedure.
Ensure optimum control on plant parameters, coordinate with the teams
to maximize the reliability safety and efficiency of the Power Plant and to
minimize disruptions.
Delegate tasks to subordinate engineers and operators and oversee their
performance.
Responsible for the issue of work permit (PTW) and implementation of
check sheet items according to relevant equipment or system.
Suggest and promote modifications and continuous process improvement.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, records and
procedures, Manage all Operations activities and release of equipment
within the Outage Plan.
Monitor the daily / monthly performance of preventive and corrective
maintenance and overhauling work activities in assigned plant.
Operated as Unit Shift Engineer of 2*660MW supercritical coal fired power plant,
using “EMERSON-Ovation” (3.5.1) DCS platform.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth plant operation and follow preset operational schedules to
fulfill the targeted process availability safely and efficiently.
Verified that all process control parameters had been followed and
documented at all times.
Corroborate that the plant is operated to the established standards with
minimum risk to men, machine and materials, comply with safety and
environmental standards.
Planned, directed and assigned manpower to meet aggressive operations
schedule.
Coordinate with all other departments activities that are related to plant
operations during the shift.
Collaborated with maintenance team to achieve operation goals and
minimize equipment downtime.
Dealt with emergency power failure and make quick on the spot decisions
to correct instabilities. Take corrective actions during a state of emergency.
Supervise the startup and shutdown checklist, interlock checks and
protection tests.
Monitor the overall status of the plant and summarize activities in the log
book. Fill daily plant status reports and relay all activities that occurred
during shift.
Job Responsibilities:
• To maintain the ISO standard respective quality of cement in both physical and chemical means.
• Monitor QC tests accompanying standard operating procedures.
• Maintain export and local cement quality report as per client requirements.
• Participate in HAZOP and environmental support studies.
Remain a production officer in a fatty acid extraction and refining plant through vertical splitting column and vacuum distillation.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure smooth running of the fatty acid extraction plant.
• Uphold the quality of the product with precise monitoring of plant parameters.
• Team up with the maintenance for troubleshooting and shutdown of the unit.
Graduated in Chemical and process engineering from one of the renowned engineering institute of Pakistan.
