GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
As a senior Safety and Security Supervisor I'm responsible to administer, direct and review security operation programs to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and guests, as well as for all hotel assets, whereby my roll include key responsibilities such as:
➢ Make ensure that all hotel areas and the property are adequately secured at all time, keep records of all incidents repots i.e. property damaged, Colleagues/ guests related injuries and all safety and security related reports for annual and monthly assessment.
➢ Managing the design and development of specialized training to guide security officers and others through security decisions and actions.
➢ Make sure that all allegations of the crime and other incidents are investigated and recorded.
➢ Prepare annual security goals.
Professional Responsibilities and skills
➢ Present in a professional manner whilst on duty and maintain a polite relations with guests, visitors and colleagues.
➢ investigating of theft, guest matters, interrogating staff in the event of missing guest belongings, maintaining close relation with police authority.
➢ Attending the fire alarms & checking the fire system of the hotel including evacuation procedures and manning the fire control room.
➢ Act on issues and concerns with in field of activity immediately and report action taken to the security manager in a timely and efficient manner.
➢ Responsible for screening of all luggage & personal belongings by metal detector & X-Ray Machine during VIP functions, formula one & deferent conditions
➢ Assign work duties and task to staff.
➢ Inspection of firefighting equipment’s and accessories, proper setups of CCTV cameras around the property as required by authorities.
➢ Controlling all Metal keys and electronic key cards for the guest rooms and outlets etc.
➢ Inspect grooming and Deportment standard of staff while on duty.
➢ Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines.
➢ conducting a daily briefing of security officers and delegating the briefing of HOD on behalf of director of Security.
➢ Ensure that standers are maintained at a superior level on daily basis.
➢ Maintain complete knowledge of any comply with all departmental policies, service procedure and standards.
➢ Implementation of all emergency & evacuation procedures, i.e. bomb threat calls, fire, chemical accidents and any incident that requires evacuate the property.
➢ Responsible of overall incident & accident reporting to hotel and concern Department.
➢ Control & monitor the movement of public, guest and Staff areas through CCTV surveillance cameras & patrolling throughout the premises.
