• Identify from Client (Asharqia) the requirements, all project deliverables, the man-hours required to complete the project and the personnel to carry out.
• Liaises with Discipline Engineers, advise them of project requirements, schedule and man hours allocated for each discipline. Obtain from Discipline Engineers their professional commitment for the successful completion of the project.
• Prepares project reports and status on a weekly basis for the Projects Manager review, comment and approval.
• Arranges a list of issues for the Project Manager’s resolution. Prepare and advise Projects Manager for look ahead schedules in order to avoid inconveniences with other projects in terms of manpower availability and submittal dates of deliverable.
• Holds regular meetings with the client's representative and project personnel to establish the current progress and to communicate and resolve of work on schedule.
• Organizes and controls execution of the project or projects for which he is accountable by completing the work in the most expeditious manner, within the time period, and within the cost and man-hour budget for the work.
• Ensure that any work performed is covered by the service order's scope of work. If additional, work or out of scope is required, advise the Projects manager and Clients representative and obtain their approval before undertaking such work. Prepare an Engineering Change Order (ECR) if an approval has been obtained.
• Conducted technical discussion with clients making sure that all angles are being reviewed and considered facts relating to discussion before the meeting takes place.
• Liaised with Discipline Engineer working on the project to ensure that there is no conflict interest ensuring the smooth flow of work to the CADD Department with sufficient time allowed to meet the schedules.
• Made decisions regarding the most efficient method of design to be adopted and seek professional and technical advice when needed.
• Prepared PERT CPM for the projects to monitor the daily activities and cash flow.
• Prepared Architectural Designs (2D), Costing and Presentation.
• Supervised projects and monitored workflow.
• Assisted in the development of standard details and site layouts for the various site types.
• Supervised and monitored the construction of roads and building.
• Prepared PERT CPM, cash flow and estimate.
