Responsible for: 133 Sub - Contracted Haulage Companies
59 Sub Contractors Operating as Nestle Own Columns
(Subcontractors using Nestle trailers)
Covering 22, 000, 000 KM's Per Annum
70, 000 + Customer deliveries

Duties Include Provide 24/7 front facing National operational cover

Deputise for Ops Manager as required

Ensure Hauliers comply with Nestle Procedures
Compile Haulier Audit reports
Ensure & monitor Haulier timeliness
Liaise with hauliers on Operational Matters
Ensure Hauliers Operate within Law & W.T.D.

Continuous compliance with H&S Legislation

Liaise and Inform Customer Services of late running
Deliveries.
Out of Hours inform customer direct and update
Customer systems to reflect new ETA

Visit Customers and compile Customer Audit reports

Compile interdepartmental reports and daily statistics.
Compile daily Out Of Hours and Night issue reports

Proactively manage Delivery Conformation Unit.
Out Of Hours capture and process haulier conformation
Manage loads with discrepancies
Track returned goods to depot of origin
Compile weekly haulier conformation statistics.

Assist with weekend and Out Of Hours scheduling
