- Repairs and maintains light vehicles and heavy equipment including, but not limited to, ATVs, light trucks, cars, and small engines such as pressure washers, air compressors, and generators.
- Perform light and heavy equipment maintenance activities including installation, repair, trouble-shooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct reconditioning and rehabilitation of units, adjust, and overhaul or replace major assemblies or subassemblies such as engine mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, fuel, emission, power train, brake, steering, and calibration devices, gauges, etc.
- Provide input and data for processing work orders, invoices, equipment repair records, and activity reports.
- Prepare equipment for use and ensure proper safety is exercised in equipment maintenance.
- Maintain and account for assigned parts, equipment, and tools.
- Adhere to all established safety policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous waste.
- Perform recovery operations as needed.
- Act as point-of-contact for maintenance issues in absence of Maintenance Supervisor or Foreman.
- Perform other duties as assigned by my superior.
- Responsible on a day to day repair and maintenance of operative mobile and stationary equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and PM hour/daily servicing of all operatingmachineries such as Terex and Caterpillar Dump Trucks, Caterpillar and Komatsu generators, Komatsu Excavators, Komatsu Breakers, Caterpillar and Furukawa rock drills, Iveco and Mercedes Benz prime mover, etc... (at the quarry site).
- Perform regular troubleshooting, analysis, evaluation remedial repair of unit having breakdown regularly to prevent reoccurring of the problems.
- Conduct reconditioning and rehabilitation of units scheduled under monthly/quarterly program which includes overhauling of engines, power trainhydraulic system, cooling system, brake system, final drive under carriage.
- Regularly prepare all fast moving parts and lubricants to be available always from storehouse needed during operation at the site to reduce down time repair.
- Performed other task as assigned by my superior like operating the telescopic crane.
- Repair and maintain the heavy machineries such as Caterpillar and KomatsuBulldozer, Grove, Hitachi and Luna Crave, Caterpillar, Furukawa and Komatsu wheel loaders, Mitsubishi and Euclid articulated dump trucks, Komatsu, TCM and Mitsubishi Forklift, Komatsu and Hitachi excavators, Caterpillar tow-way dozer, skid loader, buses, grader, road rollers, generators and etc.(using hand power tools).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of diesel engines such as Cummins, caterpillar, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Nissan, etc...(using testing paraphernalia).
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain hydraulic system under carriage, trucks, sprocket, roller, hydraulic pump, cooling system, brake system and all power train components on heavy equipment.
- Responsible in safety usage of hand and power tools in preparing and maintaining of the engines.
- Overhauling of engines and major drivelines such as transmission, differential and torque converter.
- Responsible in analysing and repairing electrical and hydraulic malfunction.
- Test the repaired equipment to ensure proper performance when used.
- Perform / repair minor and even major welding jobs and operate different types of heavy equipment.
- Perform all repair of mobile equipment machineries mechanical and hydraulic problem.
- Recon and rehab of wheel loader.
- Top overhauling of different types of engines.
- ARC and gas welding.
- Perform other task assigned by the superior in accurate manner.
