Assumed responsibility for the full cycle accounts payable process in temporary contract positions filling in for absent, To proceed to the execution of all accounting transactions of the assigned area of responsibility, updating accordingly the GL of all accounting activities, in order to keep the Bank’s accounting records accurate and in compliance with local legislation. Handled data entry and general ledger work as well as bookkeeping and general clerical tasks.
Key Results:
•Assists in monthly closings and journal entries in order to generate concise and standardized accounting statements
•Assists in the financial reconciliation of specific accounts (e.g., accrual expenses, provisions) to ensure adequacy and accuracy of all financial data.
•Updates and reconciles the GL with all the transactions and activities, so as to enable the accurate monitoring and reporting of all transactions.
•Executes the payment of the invoices related to capital, operating expenses and rent, reviewing that fully comply with the processes and procedures of the Bank.
•Updates all transactions in the accounting system and proceeds to the allocation of expenses to the respective cost center, so as to enable the continuous follow-up of budget execution.
•Reviews the contracts with third parties to assess the relevant accruals and proceeds to their calculation and estimations, updating the relevant data and adjusting the relevant payment obligations.
•Reviews all invoices received, so as to assess their compliance with the payment terms of the contracts.
•Facilitated “no-fault” internal and external audits as a result of sound recordkeeping and through documentation.
•Consistently maintained accuracy in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages
