- TBT for the workers in order to keep their awareness level up high to avoid any
accident/incident related to their job assignment.
-Ensure that safety training and other specifically required training is provided to all employees.
- Constructive relationships with all key stakeholders Groups, project supervisors,
management & HSE staff.
- Participates in regular HSE meetings with the subcontractors and related
interested parties with the view to discussing HSE concerns and actions Common to all.
- Organizes and issues daily/weekly/monthly, HSE reports as required.
- Attend HSE staff meetings & advise on matters that require specific inputs.
- Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on sites and design risk mitigation Measures.
- Assist with the implementation of TRA and Job Safety Analysis then creating an outline to
potential hazards, at each stage.
- Conducts initial risk assessments and alerts the project team of new or unknown HSE risks
& recommends appropriate solutions;
- Follows up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary
And ensures that any certification requirements are complied with; Audit work being
performed with ''Safe Work Permit”.
- Conducts inspections/audits on projects to ensure compliance with HSE and project procedures.
- Supervises the regular inspection of fire fighting, safety and emergency response Equipment.
- Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest
level of preparedness in any emergency.
- Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses; Review and
analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations;
- Participate in Management Safety Patrol and walkabouts, report all comments and assist in
ensuring all deviations are corrected.
