Engaged in different projects and tasks with the Decision Support section and accomplished several tasks related to the JCI re-accreditation process in the hospital such as Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE) forms of their Physician.
Joined the staff in their daily work in the department five main sections as follows: VIP Section, Patient Relations Section, Registration & Admission Section, Appointments Section, Medical Records and Reports Section.
Studied "Anti-Cyber Crime Law" and "Health Practice Law".
I worked on different tasks with the team in three units in the department which were Document Imaging and Inactive Medical Records Unit, Auditing Unit and Medical Coding Unit. Additionally, I accomplished a project on my own titled (The Documentation of Discharge Summary and History and Physical Examination (H&P) Forms in John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare ). The Sample collected is the discharged patients' medical records in a defined period. The project was aiming to identify the following for the discharge summary and H&P forms:
1- Identify the quality of those two forms based on JCI documentation standers.
2- Identify the quality of those two forms based on CBAHI documentation standers.
3- Identify the quality of those two forms based on JHAH documentation standers.
4- Measuring age errors.
5- Measuring gender errors.
6- Measuring date errors.
I am a graduate of the Department of Health Information Management and Technology in College of Public Health. My specialty is concerned with the planning, collection, storage, retrieval and dissemination of health data for quality health care services. With the advances currently occurring across all disciplines especially in the field of information, the need for highly qualified personnel of health information management has been increased. The study period was five years and including internship training period (12 Months). I successfully completed my written dissertation with grade A+.
