JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ensure substrate rough welds and cut-offs shall be ground to a minimum radius and also decide if substrate requires solvent or detergent cleaning.
•Ensure steel surface temperature is at least 3°C above the Dew Point.
•Ensure compressed air supply shall be free of oil, moisture and contamination.
•Ensure minimum nozzle pressure for blasting shall be 90 psig at the nozzle side.
•Ensure operational remote control valve (Dead-man) shall be securely attached to the nozzle.
•Evaluate steel rust grade and surface condition.
•Ensure abrasive type, performance and storage.
•Ensure abrasive sulfate, chloride and calcium carbonate content.
•Ensure oil and water soluble ionic contamination in abrasive.
•Attend all inspections such as after blasting (check Environmental Conditions, Visual examination, Substrate Cleanliness, Profile check, Salt test) as per the specification.
•Ensure spent abrasive shall be removed from substrate by dry brushing and blowing down with clean, dry compressed air prior to painting.
•Ensure the coating system and painting material product number as per the specification.
•Ensure paints mixing and continuous agitation with a low-speed stirrer during application.
•Ensure the weld lines, edges, bolts, nuts and rivets shall be given a brush applied stripe coat prior to all paint applications.
•Ensure the coating nozzle tip size and fluid pressure as per the data sheet.
•Ensure paint application at uniform layer with over lapping at the ends.
•Ensure Wet film coating thickness readings as per the specification.
•Ensure coating free defects such as runs, sags, drips and foreign matters.
•After the painting application (check Visual Examination of coating, DFT, Holiday detection, Adhesion test).
•Co-ordinate with client daily basis to resolve any Quality issues/paint failures & provides solutions.
•Taking part in the determination of corrective actions and then ensuring the correct implementation of the activities for resolving cases of non-conformity.
•Co-ordination with the third party inspection as well as client inspection as per the Project Specifications & Standards.

•JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Handle various measuring instruments for blasting/ painting like Digital Dew Point Calculator, Surface profile Comparator, Surface profile needle gauge, Dial micrometer with and Replica Tape, Wet Film Thickness Gauge & Dry Film Thickness Gauge, Hypodermic Needle Gauge, Elcometer, Holiday detector.
•Review and Approval of calibration certificate for all painting / blasting inspection equipment.
•Witness of equipment inspection (Air Compressor, Air Receiver, Blasting Pot, Blasting Booth Airless pump and Paint mixer)
•Visual inspection and documents review & approval of abrasive and paint materials.
•Surveillance inspection for storage of abrasive and painting materials as per the manufacture’s recommendations.
•Witness Inspection of before the painting application (check surface preparation, cleanliness degree, surface roughness, salt contamination measurement, surface defects).
•Witness Inspection of surface condition degrades below the specified cleanliness level (Dust level) before the painting activities.
•Monitor and ensure in-process painting activates (Paints mixing and continuously agitated with low speed mixer)
•Witness Inspection of Wet Film Thickness as per the specification.
•Witness Inspection of after the painting application (check DFT, Holiday detection, Adhesions and Visual examination).
•Commence Blasters/Painters qualification test & review their qualification according to job specification.
•Witnessing all kinds of coating inspection as per the ITP

•JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for monitoring all parameters during blasting and painting activities.
•Responsible for incoming inspection of abrasive and painting material has to ensure whether these materials suits to meet the requirements of project specification.
•Responsible to monitor the storage of abrasive and paint materials as the manufacturer’s recommendation.
•Responsible to check the coating equipment inspection (such as Air supply compressor, Air receiver, Blast pot, Blasting hose & Coating Equipment).
•Responsible for Quality Control Equipment calibration.
•Perform all inspections as per the ITP to verify the requirement.
•Before the Painting application (check Visual examination, Cleanliness degree, Surface roughness, Salt contamination measurement, Environmental conditions).
•During paint application (check Weathering conditions, Steel temperature, Paints mixing ratio, thinning and WFT etc).
•After the Painting application (check DFT, Holiday detection, Adhesions and Painting defects).
•Perform Inspection activities as per Inspection Test Plan.
•Check calibration certificates for all blasting / painting inspection equipment

•Execution and Inspection for Blasting and Painting activities.

•After Painting application (check DFT, Holiday detection, Adhesions and Painting defects)
•Perform Inspection activities as per Inspection Test Plan

•JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform Blotter test and ensure the compressed air quality.
•Ensure the coating system and paint materials as per specification.
•Inspection and testing of coated materials as the specification.
•Estimate the required man-hours related to coating and painting.
•Check and record the relative humidity, atmosphere temperature & metal temperature before the each and every process as per the specification.

•Check the profile height and surface cleanness & surface contamination test before the given the work permit to painting.
•Check the painting defects, DFT, Holiday detection.
•Maintained require documents as per ISO 9001: 2015
