The Project comprises the construction and upgrade of the section of Rayyan Road from West of Olympic R/A, to West of the New Rayyan R/A at the east end of the scheme, together with the construction and upgrading of associated side roads and service roads. Project Brief:
The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) designated Louis Berger (LB) as the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) for the Training Sites for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar including Ancillary Support Facilities around the Training Sites (Al Sailiya, Al Wahda, Qatar University and Doha Golf Course Clusters).
Two Main Contractors 1. Nakheel Landscapes and, 2. Gulf Contracting WLL
Responsibilities:
• To provide assurance to the PMCM and SC that safety in construction meets the TDO’s as well as the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Health & Safety requirements to help deliver SC’s ‘Work Safe, Deliver Amazing’ programme. This will be achieved through the implementation of CSC’s Health & Safety (HSE) Management Plan, and adherence to SC’s HSE Standards, PMCM Health & Safety Compliance Action Plan, the requirements of Qatar Construction Specifications (2014) and other applicable standards as per contract.
• Monitoring and implementation of the Contractor’s Health and Safety Plan.
• Ensuring SC Workers Welfare Standards implemented at Sites and Labour Accommodations.
• To Conduct Site Visits/Inspections and make reports accordingly

• Report to the Project Manager regarding the status of the HSE performance of the project sites and report on non-compliance.
• Accompany Government Officials and/or Client on site visit and follow-up on their recommendations.
• Advice site management on all applicable Health and Safety regulations, and change in in regulations.
• Ensure the compliance of QCS 2014.
• Actively participate in HSE Performance review.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments before start of the works.
• Develop the Emergency Evacuation Plans and arrange fire drills at least once in every six months.
• Prepare and review Health, Safety and Environmental related plans and procedures.
• Review subcontractor Safety and Environmental plans and procedures.
• Provide advice and recommendation to the management on the measures to be taken in the interest of safety, health, environmental protection including review of method statement to ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented prior to execution of work.
• Perform HSE assessment on Subcontractor and Supplier.
• Lead and participates in HSE incident investigation and reports on finding.
• Review medical requirements and emergency contingency plans.
• Issue Stop Work order where required and issue reports.
• Perform root cause analysis on non-conformance and ensure follow-up with corrective and preventive action as necessary.
• Prepare HSE training material as required and provide HSE training and toolbox talk to internal and sub-contractor staff.
• Prepare Safety and Environmental promotional material and event.
• Compile HSE and other statistics to the client’s representative and Bin Omran at required intervals.
• Advise the project management teams on potential risks and give solutions to the risks prior to any new and existing work is undertaken.
• Advise on all legal and contractual HSE requirements to the project management departments.
• Maintain all required HSE related documentation for the project operations.
• Ensure suitable and effective communication means are in place and effective for the project.
• Participate in all HSE Meeting including the monthly HSE Committee.
• Participate in all HSE Audits with PM and Client Representative.

Approximate 26 Hectares, features 33 Numbers of State of the Art Buildings comprising of Restaurants, Cafes, Amphitheatre for live performances, Exhibition Halls, Museums, Traditional Souk, and many other supporting facilities including opera hall, music academy, falcon clinic etc.
2.New Energy Centre Building & Tunnel Connecting to KATARA Facility Areas: Main Contractor- M/S GCC, Cost - 232 Million
A Six Story Building Project with over 564 Car Parking Facilities with Ramp and extended office facility at 6th Floor shared by KATARA HR & KATARA Development Project Office.
3.KATARA HILLS (Infrastructure Project): Main Contractor - M/S Galfar Al Misnad, Cost - 1.407 Billion.
Approximate 58 Hectares of Artificially made Hills divided in to Southern & Northern Precincts (Manmade land formation of up to 30 meters in height) forms a valley, which was intended for 225 unique residential villas. Presently Infrastructure works including roads, water, electric, landscape, irrigation, telephone works completed. This project has 16 Electrical Sub-Stations (08 each in Southern Precinct & Northern Precinct) and 01 Switching Station.
4.KATARA Fitness Centre: Main Contractor - M/S Midmac LLC, Cost - 70 Million.
State of the Art Fitness Centre with swimming pool and other facilities. The most attractive “Grand Stairs” are the beauty of this Project facing to the Arabian Sea.
5.Basement Car Park (Main Contractor - M/S Marbu), Cost - 643 Million Ecstatic Commercial Plaza & Children Mall (Main Contractor - M/S ITCC), Cost - 410 Million.
It is a State of Art Stone Cladded Building with an approximate built up area of 34, 000 M2 in addition to basement car parking capacity of 1939 Parking Spaces.
6.Marine Restaurant(Jetty): Main Contractor - M/S Redco Almana, Cost - 74 Million.
It is a Marine Dining Project located partially in existing breakwater and sea on the North Eastern Side of KATARA; consists of wooden walkways to approach the Chalets and Reastaurant.
