Saudi German Hospitals Group is largest healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh site is a Multi-Specialty Tertiary Care Hospital. I joined the team during the set-up of the pharmacy department and was instrumental in implementing new services, policies and procedures, resulting in various promotions from Pharmacist to Supervisor of In-Patient services.
• Acted as Quality Team Member in achieving JCIA in 2008.
• Led HIS system implementation at SGH Riyadh with GE group.
• Implemented MMU related PnP.
• Fully computerized Unit Dose Drug Distribution System.
• Spearheaded Cytotoxic Admixture Program, including implementation of e-protocols, policies, pharmacy and nursing staff training.
• Set up pharmacy automation in Total Parenteral Nutrition.
• Started Pneumatic Tube system at the hospital.
• Implemented Unit Dose System, TPN and Cytotoxic Admixture Services in all branches of Saudi German Hospitals Group (SGH Jeddah, SGH Abha, SGH Medina) as well as being responsible for the TPN and Cytotoxic Admixture programs in Riyadh.
