Reporting to the CEO, providing IT services and maintaining business continuity for all four healthcare centres with an internal staff strength of 500 while managing a team of 1 IT technician and 3 helpdesk staffs.

Key Achievements
➢ Influenced Board of Directors to implement server consolidation and Dedicated Internet Access connection enabling real-time information sharing and high availability while reducing the IT asset’s cost over 40%.
➢ Management Of Information Chapter Leader during the Accreditation of Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) as well as during the Accreditation of Joint Commission International (JCI).
➢ Managed complex and concurrent IT projects throughout the lifecycle for Al Hilal Manama and Salmabad branch. Lowered the cost of IT infrastructure by BD 20, 000 with server consolidation.
➢ Conducted end-to-end cost analysis on internal projects to bring down the operational cost on the management (Email Migration, Outsource Printers, Firewall).
➢Analysed value stream activities for the patient registration process and recommended changes (smart card registration) resulting in an immediate 60% increase in receptionist productivity while improving data quality.
➢Assisted in the reengineering of Laboratory Information System by designing processes to improve the Turn Around Time and STAT for our diagnostic services resulting in laboratory improvement; achieved a compliance rate of 80% within two months.
Outline
Reporting to the IT Supervisor, providing 1st line IT support for 300 internal staffs at our Jubail branch and supporting ongoing IT change projects.
Responsibilities
➢ Provide 1st line technical support to internal staffs via telephone, email, face-to-face and remotely.
➢ Liaison with various IT vendors for implementation of infrastructure, network and firewall within the organisation.
➢ Train internal staffs on the usage of new technology and applications when implemented.
➢ Troubleshoot and resolve Windows hardware and software issues, install operating systems, perform general computer hardware maintenance on desktops, laptops, telephony and peripheral devices.
Key Achievements
➢ Management Of Information chapter Core Member during the Re-accreditation of Joint Commission International (JCI).
➢ Training of internal staffs on various IT policies and procedures in accordance with JCI standards and achieved over 85% compliance rate.
➢ Up took the role of Customer Support Analyst after the successful implementation of the eRequest Project to improve the adoption rate and speed up the achievement of key metrics. A paperless system for Housekeeping and Maintenance department was achieved within three months of go-live.
➢ Underwent Basic Life Support (BLS) training and obtained a certification upon demonstration.
➢ Promoted to interim IT Supervisor role during my supervisor’s vacation period.
