• Prepare 3 Monthly, 6 Monthly and Yearly Preventive maintenance schedules and allocate work in all
Electrical equipment located in Main Substation feeding Package Substations.
• Record the Parameter Reading of 66kV/11kV & 11kV/415V Substation and Assist
with Kharama (General Electricity & Water Distribution authority).
• Performing Yearly / 6 Monthly Preventive maintenance in 66kV GIS (Gas Insulated
Switchgear), 11kV Switch gear, Battery Charger, UPS, Earthing Transformer,
Power Transformer, Dry/Oil Type Transformers, Generators, Battery Banks,
Earth Pits, WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plant) Equipment and 146 Package
11kV/0.415kV Substation Monitoring & Maintenance.
• Patrolling and Monitoring of 146 Package 11kV/0.415kV Substations in Land Side & Airside.
• Inspect and Note the Reading of all Parameter Readings and Maintain the record.
• Substation Asset Maintenance (Material & Tools)
• Co Ordinate with third Party team for Maintenance and Prepare Permits & Work Orders
• Preparing Work Order for Preventive Maintenance/ Corrective Maintenance in Air Side & land side.
• Maintain ETAS HIA - FM Work Order Start and Stop through Android Phone and Prepared the test
sheet.
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
• Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

* Tests electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current,
voltage, and resistance.
* Installs, repairs, or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers,
motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls.
* Do preventive maintenance and testing of electrical system (including 1X30
MW Hydro Electric generator and 110 KV Substation )
* Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage
batteries.
* Maintaining Assistant the AEE and AE office administration.
Responsibility:
* Installation and Commissioning of Cathodic Protection projects.
* Managing of CP site survey.
* Determination of Impressed current system size regarding the DC
Source and it’s associated anode ground bed.
