Manager CPBB (TW Country Finance Business Partner, FP&A) 05/2022-Present

Led the process transition from SCB Taiwan CPBB Finance Team and introduced 2 additional FTE positions, thereby creating wider opportunities for the GBS Team (offshore) and contributing towards cost efficiency targets of the Bank.

• Over ~3000 man hours of processes migrated to GBS covering over 100 activities which include performance packs, Daily/monthly reports, Products & Segment Decks, Biz Commentaries, Flash, Early view reports etc.
• Close to 500 hours of efficiency achieved through lean process reengineering and VBA automation.
• Work closely with SCB Taiwan CPBB Finance Head and other Stakeholders in understanding and delivering various Business requirements.
• Analyzing actual position against Budget, Forecast, and Outlook numbers.
• Examination of the $7bn Balance sheet assets for new bookings, attritions and P&L analysis for rate impacts.
• High quality presentation materials for MBR, ExCo, Strawman and other Ad hoc reviews.
• Deep dive into the $350mn Income statement across GII, FTP, NII, Fees (Incl Contra NFI) and commissions.
• Analysis of cost allocation methodologies to ensure reasonable recharges across products and segments.
• Monitoring over $200mn of annual expenses, cost centre wise, for efficiencies.
• Identify material movements over $0.5mn and fix incorrect/delayed bookings (if any).
• ~ 12% productivity achieved during Corporate plan (AOP) season.

Spearheaded the major transition initiative under the FTOM project, covering ~1500 hours of annual processes covering over ~50 activities which include:

• 30+ Critical Month-end book close activities which includes Income Accruals, Department Reclassification entries, Expenses/ Recharges entries etc.
• Weekly analysis of the Priority Banking customer base (NTB/NTS), Personal loans New bookings and Attritions, and Wealth Product performance including Daily NFI, along with Run rates and business justifications.
