WORK DESCRIPTION IN ASIAN GATE SDN BHD COMPANY AS MARKETING MANAGER:
Marketing Department
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with marketing, advertising, and public relations teams to oversee marketing and promotions
for a company's products and services.
2. Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
3. Launch optimized online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook, etc. to increase company and
brand awareness.
4. Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google
Analytics, Web Trends, etc.).
5. staff to increase operations in collaboration with human resources teams.
6. Work with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and approve agreements.
7. Introduce and implement innovative short and long-term business goals.
8. Perform related duties, like advising top management on new market.
9. Serve on company committee providing professional consulting services to government industry.
I worked as a news editor in Yemeni and Middle Eastern newspapers, and was involved in the preparation of television programs. Furthermore, I have worked in Yemen embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Work description in Yemen Embassy as journalist as follows;
Mass Media & Public Relations Department
Responsibilities:
1. Managed the Embassy website and social media strategy.
2. Assisted to develop media strategies, including for specific events/visits.
3. Established and maintained a network of contacts in the Malaysian media in order to promote Yemen’s interests.
4. Acted as media liaison officer during visits by Ministers or other senior officials from Yemen, as required. Organized press conferences and drafted press releases as required.
5. Conducted targeted research on a range of political and economic issues in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippian and Cambodia. As required, undertake translation tasks from English to Arabic and Arabic to English.
Public Relation Department
Work description in Lexsz Trading Company as supervisor as follows;
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with the operational and marketing teams; utilize relationships to ensure that products services implementation schedules are met.
2. Take the lead role in built a relationship between company and the outsider to facilitated company work.
3. Hold the responsibility in arranges for ceremony in the meeting between company leaders with the other companies.
4. Achieved the urgent task for the company leaders.
5. Hold the workshop and courses need during the times of work as a local training inside the company
I obtained a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2009). At that time, I was also employed as a news editor in the Yemeni Embassy, Kuala Lumpur in Mass Media and Public Relations Department from September 2008 until July 2013. Following that period, I worked as a lecturer in International University of Technology Twintech in Yemen from August 2013 to September 2015, during which I obtained academic field knowledge and nuances of organizational behavior.
I was a head of the banking activity group, in as researcher. Following my completion of my bachelor degree in Media, Department of Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Media, in Sana’a University in 2004, I worked as a news editor in Yemeni and Middle Eastern newspapers, and was involved in the preparation of television programs.
