Duties:
Directing, organising and controlling the work of the structural section. Maintaining reports and records, coordinating with other project group members and supervisors on design problems. Supervising, scheduling, assigning and coordinating or monitoring activities of section staff.
Verifying that structural designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with ECG policies and standards. Checking the design criteria and basic designs, providing information and/or assistance to project groups. Reviewing and approving the technical quality of all work performed.
Duties: Technical review committee member: checking the design criteria and basic designs to obtain the maximum quality, ensuring that work carried out is executed in accordance with ECG standards. Reviewing and approving the technical quality of all work performed and reviewing unusual or complex design problems and providing guidance. Providing information and/or assistance to structural team, discussing and resolving structural technical issues with other technical staff and suggesting alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently.

Structural analysis and design, utilising national and international codes and standards. Preparation of detailed drawings, bills of quantity, specifications and shop drawings. Directing, organising and controlling the work of the Structural Section.
