• Preparing Tender documents, RFPʼs.
• Encourage suppliers to participate in the published tenders.
• Communicate and clarify with suppliers the requirements and other tender-related inquiries. • Educate suppliers about the tender process.
• Participate in technical evaluation works such as reviewing, auditing, collecting information. • Statistics and preparation of Technical Evaluation reports.
• Prepare the Contract & and make sure it meets the requirements.
- Preparation of RFCs, PVOs, VOs and DVOs.
- Preparation of cost plans and cost estimates.
- Check market prices from local suppliers and subcontractors to validate cost data.
- Commercial Management for Marina Project.
- Contract review, assessment, guidance.
- Routine contracts administration through to final account resolution & close-out.
- Claims management for delay and disruption, changes in specification and scope of work growth.
- Assisting schedule control with delay analyses for extension of time Claims.
- Drafting Contractual letters to Owner.
Pre-Contract Award Preparation:
• Assists in the development of the scope of work for contracts
• Provides assistance in the selection of the best relevant contract model available and payment structure • Assists in the contract estimate and developing the Commercial evaluation criteria
• Works with the Contracting team to develop analysis to assess the technical qualification of bidders
• Has involvement in the Bid Review Team (BRT)
• Prepares Tendering Committee plans and Bid slates
Post Contract Award Management:
• Undertakes Contract administration
• Coordinates the dispute resolution process
• Coordinates counselling meetings
• Works with the Contract team in negotiations
• Administers amendments and Change Orders
• Works with the Contract team in the roll-out (kick-off) of the contract
• Develops professional presentations for management and Executive
• Prepares responses and helps to represent the proponent on Claim Review Panels.
Business and Risk Management
• Advises on contract special terms and conditions
• Ensures and controls Policy compliance
• Provides optimization solutions
• Negotiates Corporate discount agreements and concession agreements
• Provides recommendations/justifications for changes to contracting procedure/contract format • Acts as the focal point between the Proponent and Procurement, Finance and Legal
• Works with the Contract team and other parties in contracts budgeting and forecasting.
Working as Contracts Engineer at Aramco Yanbu-Jeddah pipeline project. The Project budget is $300 million. My tasks are preparing tenders and review the qualifications of subcontractors. Also, prepare subcontracts, lease and services agreements and ensure they are following the contracts specifications.
