Key Responsibilities:
Head the sales function for Ministry, Education and Corporate vertical across MENA, India and select EU countries
Build division from ground up with no existing team, identify channels and partners
Target Minstry / Government bodies across target countries and tap in to large educational initiatives
Set up focused team / complete sales organization ranging from presales to front ending sales heads
End to end Sales Planning, Execution, Sales P&L management with overall Top line accountability of $5M
Set-up sales engine for Universities and large K-12 School chains for subscription products
Manage Principal relationships and continually add innovative products / services to the portfolio
Own the marketing function - website revamp, social media, SEO / SCM, adwords, email campaign management
Build various lead generation channels for active funnel / pipeline - Inbound, Outbound, Referral
Participate / represent the organization in educational events across the target region
Two Large government opportunities with multi-million potential already in final stages of pursuit
Three Large School Chains signed up for supplementary license based content products, value - $200K+
Advanced discussions with large Telecom operators underway for subscription / SaaS based products
Revamped the marketing function with focus on - website (under process), social media marketing, branding etc
Signed up four exclusive partner agreements - a French leader in Technology, an Indian provider for certified curriculum product, a Finish company for SMS and a Canadian provider of virtual reality learning system

Inherit the Global Sales Function for Travel vertical covering target customers like - OTA’s, Airlines, Car Rental, Cruise Liners, Hedge Funds and Destination / Toursim Boards
Manage and grow a $11M + business providing Big Data based SaaS solutions to the target verticals
Take over a geographically split sales team and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Design a scalable organization structure with the changing market need and growing internal product porfolio
Work with engineering, product management groups to design product based upon market / customer needs
Mentor and create next level of leaders in the team, work with HR/L&D functions in skill assessments
End to end ownership of the vertical targets - both new business acquisition and existing account mining
Work with the CEO / Board in periodic review reporting, ideation on upcoing growth markets and long term plan
Build personal relationships and individually manage large accounts like Expedia, Booking, Agoda, Enterprise, Budget, Dubia Tourism + a few more

Initiated, pursued and signed Airbnb single handedly, value at over $800K for the first year and growing thereon
For the two quarters spent, exceeded quarterly team projections
In the capacity as a Consultant, designed Go-to Market for a new offering targeted as Tourism boards
Signed up alliance with Prefered Hotel Group for the destination board offerings and generated three large conversations - DTCM, Mexico Toursim Board and South Africa tourism board. DTCM signed for $120K / Year
Undisputable relationship with all key stake holders - CEO, CTO, CFO and other leaders in the organization
