• Effectively communicating with scientists and technologists pertaining to inventions.

• Patent Prosecution: Primary Prior art search, patentability analysis, drafting and assisting in requisite filing, FTO, infringement analysis, patent prosecution and searching worldwide patent databases for patent equivalents. Reviewed drafts and refined grounds for opposition/ observation/reexamination against competitors' patents and patent applications. Prosecuted patent applications at specifically at USPTO and instructed and assisted outside counsel worldwide.
• Identified opportunities for early launches of products through patent challenges. Developed grounds for patent invalidity and/or non-infringement for potential and ongoing litigation. Well versed with Supplementary Protection Certificates, data exclusivity, pediatric exclusivity, free movement of goods and approval of generic medicinal products.
• Patent Litigation: Reviewed briefs, motions and draft expert opinions. Suggested and strengthened invalidity and non-infringement arguments by analyzing file wrappers, searching for prior art, and researching case law on obviousness type double patenting, inherent anticipation, prosecution history estoppel and latches, inventorship, etc.
Worked as research scientist and carried out multi step organic synthesis. Carried out the knowledge management in respect to the rlevant documentation.
