Main Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Housekeeping Team Leader I am responsible for daily assigned duties as instructed by Manager while adhering to hotel policies and procedures and my role will include key responsibilities such as
• Ensures all direct report colleagues report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and nametag, follows good hygiene habits and are courteous and professional at all times to ensure smooth operation and efficient of the department.
• Conduct the daily briefing and pass the guest comments and inform for daily special task.
• Constantly be aware of all room status to ensure maximum numbers of room are inspected and release for arrival.
• Liaise with the engineering critical/pending maintenance issues to ensure immediate reflection.
• Ensure all control of cleaning equipment and liaise with outside suppliers in regular servicing to ensure proper maintenance.
• Notes any discrepancies in room assignment to ensure proper information are up to date.
• Ensure knowledge of policy relating of fire, hygiene, health and safety and reports all defective items through maintenance system to ensure safety standards are adhere to in all assigned areas.
• Support and assist coordinator in all room requirements in order to effectively maintain colleague needs.
• Assist to manage all aspects of room arrival to ensure guest amenities are properly set up.
• Send maintenance and necessary notification to room occupants on time and keep the notice board up to date on daily basic to ensure colleagues are well informed.
• Conduct inspection of cleanliness in the assigned area to ensure standard set by the company are met.
• Responsible for the inventory of the furniture and fixtures, linen and other equipment that belongs to the company to ensure proper control are in place.
• Ensure proper control of master keys in all assigned areas to ensure safety for all on house guests.
• Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.
