• Create and identify new business opportunities by interacting with a wide variety of accounts from small and medium sized organizations

As a marketing and sales intern my task was to research the possibilities of achieving a higher turnover from existing customers.
KPN is the largest telecom operator in the Netherlands. As a salesman I worked in a KPN retail store which included the following tasks and responsibilities:
Find out the customers needs.
Provide information about all the KPN products such as internet and mobile telecommunication.
Prepare sales action plans and strategies.
Take stock inventory.
Demonstrate use and operation of the products.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Main field of study: marketing (specialization marketing, media & entertainment) Minors: Fundamentals of International Business: English taught minor focused on students with an international mind. Courses that were lectured included international business, law, financial accounting, global marketing and a business project. Entrepreneurship & Innovation, feasibility studies: This minor focuses on entrepreneurial students who want to test the feasibility of a business idea. In my case this was a social media & online marketing consultancy firm.
