• Coordinating and collaborating with departments such as Engineering Services, Information Technology, Patient Safety, Sterile Processing Services, Supply Chain Management, Contracting, and Information Management Services.
• Managing the workload between the Clinical team and Imaging team on a monthly basis according to established workflow for PMs, corrective calls, recalls, and operation verification.
• Collaborating with medical staff to determine requirements, design system configurations, and develop specifications.
• Providing technology assessment, project management, and system management services to other multi-site medical systems.
• Monitoring the progress of work assignments, coordinating and controlling biomedical work operations in accordance with Management goals and objectives.
• Implementation of a stranded environment of care program in accordance with TJC and UOC
• Provide assistance to the imaging team with performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and operation verification of imaging equipment GE C-arm Elite/9900/9800, CT ( Philips BRILLIANCE ICT, GE Revoulation HD), MR (GE Signa Architect / Discover MR750, Philips INGENIA 3.0T /INGENIA 3.0T ) Portable Xrays ( Carestream DRX / GE optima ), Rad Rooms (Siemens Ysio, Ysio Max, Agile- Philips digital Diagnostics).
• Providing daily updates to senior management on service delivery progress and maintaining the scope and direction of each work stream throughout the duration of the project.
• Collaboration with clinical service lines to optimize the effectiveness of healthcare technologies, managing implementation and recurring technical support, tracking action items, reviewing milestones, and making adjustments as needed Monitoring project progress, tracking action items, reviewing milestones, adjusting as needed
• Provide lifecycle management for imaging equipment in radiology departments and life support machines in related clinical areas (OR, ICU, PACU).
• Provide medical technology end users and clinical staff with appropriate training and education.
• Managing incident response, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database, including inventory, performance assurance schedules, nomenclature, and service history.
• Investigating, remediating, and documenting recalls and safety alerts within specified timeframes
• Implementing equipment procurement processes, including developing technical specifications, evaluating proposals, and negotiating prices.
• Responsible for ensuring that all service and documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
• Investigates hazards and alerts related to medical equipment and maintains functional knowledge of relevant safety codes and standards.
