• Preparation of monthly treasury report, cash position and bank reconciliations;

• Maintain proper fixed asset register and record fixed assets additions and disposal in the system on timely basis;
• Capitalisation of fixed assets and maintain proper fixed assets records i.e. CAPEX, capitalization certificates, invoices, LPOs etc;
• Posting of depreciation entries on monthly basis;

• Close coordination with the banks for LCs, LGs and suppliers’ payments
• Close coordination with auditors for the finalization of statutory financial audits

I have been working working in Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT) since March 2013, currently designated as an Accounting Officer. KICT is Pakistan's leading container terminal operator, has been in operation since 1998. KICT is a member of the Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH) Group, a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL), is the world's leading port investor, developer and operator.

• Responsible for managing the assigned tasks on audit engagements.
• Perform general risk assessment by reviewing client’s internal minutes of meetings of Board and management committees, internal audit reports and inquiries with key management personnel.
