Writing, updating and implementing internal policies and Procedures ensuring that they are consistent with the hospital Medical by- laws, rules and regulation
Oversees the supervision of the Staff on the wards, Haemodialysis, OPD, ED, ICU and other areas within the Hospital
Participates in hospital wide teaching activities
Develop & maintains professional Quality standards & makes recommendations for improvement of such standards
Monitor quality of patient care with appropriate Quality Improvement Program
Encourage all hospital staff to participate in Quality, Risk Management, Patient Safety educational activities and quality improvement teams
Monitor the application of Infection Control Guidelines within the department
Monitor the process of patient/family education in his/her department and ensure that all staff doing his/her role in the process
Provides orientation, bedside training and supervision to residents and staff as assigned
