My role is the management of development and provision of technical materials for consultancy related to the GS1 system of standards, providing technical support the use of global identification keys and barcode applications, managing and cooperating with local and international organizations to design, implement, and evaluate certain projects, and Management of presentations and training sessions that are relevant to GS1 Standers on solutions.

My responsibilities included Conducting technical need assessments and preparing technical services proposals and Manage GS1 Jordan's participation in exhibitions and organizing any forums, workshops, and seminars.
My supervisor also relied on my ability to Team Leadership and Strategic Planning, I lead “GOScan” as a project manager in 2019 - 2021, and self-certification process to achieve verified by GS1 certificate during 2020 - 2021, participate in barcode mandate comity with the ministry of trade and industry to put Jordan market public policy to mandate barcode on Jordanian product in 2020.

My job is varied with a great deal of interaction with clients of all nationalities (some with limited knowledge of the English language) that require help and advice along with the process of applying for a Schengen Visa.
Confidentiality and a high level of security is essential and I have had to learn very quickly the strict, intricate regulation requirements dictated by the different embassies throughout Europe.
In addition to my client workload I have been able to expand my computer/IT knowledge using up to date Microsoft packages including excel spread sheets on a daily basis.
This is a challenging position which requires a high level of concentration, accuracy, self motivation, and discipline, organizational and interpersonal skills.
I have had to learn to be reasonably assertive (when applications are rejected) but always try to balance this with a natural empathy and respect for my clients.
