Scope of Accountability
• Delivery of all logistics related to utilities requirements of the project
­ Water - seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant, intake/outfall, primary & secondary tanks, networks and filling stations
­ Wastewater management - sewage treatment plant (STP) and wetlands sewage treatment system, treated sewage effluent (TSE)
­ Waste management - disposal and/or recycling of all types of waste including construction waste and municipal waste
­ Power - solar and biofuel power generators
­ Marine transportation and telecommunications for land utilities

Responsibilities
• Direct and manage all aspects related to early design practices ensuring on time, within budget, quality deliverables.
• Project manage the Procurement and design teams for the preparation of documentation including requests for requests for proposals (RFP), requests for information (RFI), request for quotations (RFQ), bills of quantities (BOQ) and pre-tender estimates (PTE) for various packages that are issued to the market for Commercial Tenders.
• Lead Pre-tender meetings and develop Procurement Strategies, manage and coordinate the technical teams during tender evaluation process, lead and negotiate the Contractor commercial offers and the award of contracts for construction, including operation and maintenance of facilities post-construction.
• Management of International Design Consultants and Contractors facilitating smooth and efficient project progress.
• Lead the Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) of all project packages to IFC Standards through a certified ESIA consultant ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability of the project.
• Drive initiatives for developing environment-friendly solutions; solar power and biofuel generators, sewage treatment wetlands, evaporation ponds and beach wells as needed for SWRO disposal.
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans and budgets, manage, monitor, evaluate and report progress that achieve both project milestones and financial objectives.

­ Supply of TSE to district cooling projects like Saudi Tabreed district cooling plant at Jabal Omar Development

Water Operations Manager (Supply) at National Water Company

• Managed operation and maintenance of water supply and distribution system in the city of Makkah comprising of strategic reservoirs, main transmission lines and 8 O&M centers for repair and maintenance of pipelines.
