Create and present interior design concepts in response to client needs.
Create estimates, schedules, and staffing plans to complete projects.
Use software to design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects.
Work with clients to define project requirements and develop design criteria
Involved in the interior design and documentation of mid to high level residential, commercial and private projects.
➢ Managing daily store operations
➢ Managing, recruiting, training, coaching and assessing staff members
➢ Preparing financial budgets: P&L and Cash flow models, Variance analysis, initiation of corrective actions
➢ Profiling and segmenting customers: identify their needs and assessing their feedback
➢ Implementing the Marketing strategy of the brand
➢ Meeting new & existing clients and determining their requirements
➢ Delivering projects under strict deadlines and within the client’s budget
➢ Preparing drawing, sketches, proposals and quotations for clients
➢ Coordinating and monitoring the work of both contractors and suppliers
➢ Developing 2D CAD product files into a product library for Design services
➢ Producing working drawing packages, mood & sample boards & also 3d visuals
➢ Producing tender documentation, detailed drawing packages & written specification.
➢ Managing a team of 45 employees
➢ Training, coaching and assessing staff
➢ Conducting daily reporting of P&L and Cash flow to head office
➢ Maintaining store display, merchandising and safety
➢ Managing daily inventory and stocks
➢ Retaining customers by improving quality of customer service and complaints’ handling
Undertaking of a design project from concept to completion
➢ Defining project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
➢ Interpreting and translating customer needs into rough plans
➢ Setting costs and project fees according to budget
➢ Researching and deciding on materials and products sourcing
➢ Producing “sample” and “mood products”
➢ Supervising work progress
➢ Working closely with designers, decorators, architects and contractors
