 Leading a team of 2 players in the demand and supply planning team.
 Planning, procuring, and maintaining rolling 2 months forecast of stock by SKU for high end food chain brands of our key customers like Tim Hortons - KSA, Five Guys (UAE & Oman), Dairy Queen, Zaater W Zeit, Dennys, Protein House, Wendy’s, Buca, Mama Fu’s, Applebee’s in UAE.
 Base line forecasting and Demand Planning for the brands based on the historical sales trends and demand drives for +1000 SKUs.
 Deliver KPIs of forecast accuracy, availability, and inventory optimization. Work collaboratively with sales, IT and finance to deliver common KPIs of working capital reduction Monthly Forecast Review with key personnel from the customer’s team and internal brand sales team with an aim to achieve mutual KPI’s.
 Optimize cost to serve (cost, deadline, quality) and ensure the management of related procurement activities in order to ensure clients satisfaction.
 Defining budget and operation cost and size the needed resources to achieve the objectives.
 Manage the budget for the unit; implement indicators and resources; set targets and supervise the team.
 Maintaining a professional relationship with the customers, governed by the scope of Contract signed with them so as to achieve the maximum cost saving in line with the monthly turn over target.
 Monitor and control full pipeline inventories to ensure availability as per requirements.
 Evaluating Sales vs. Forecast variance for each SKU and making necessary tweaks in forecast for improving the forecast accuracy & availability (achieved +90% Forecast Accuracy & 100% stock availability for major brands YTD 2019)
 Planning regular stock replenishments based on the monthly forecast for the customers and improving stock availability & customer order fill rate (Achieved +98.9% Order Fill Rate)
 Order processing and monthly procurement of stocks as per the agreed stock norms and lead time within the define KPI of stock cover < 2 months & optimal inventory level of AED 34M.
 Containerization of monthly orders to optimize container filling and minimize overhead charges (< 10%)
 Monitoring the inventory flow through close liaison with the suppliers globally to ensure timely replenishment of the stocks.
 Review stock availability on a daily basis to ensure Out of Stock situations are avoided and opportunity loss is minimized.
 Monitoring and analyzing the expiry exposure items, out of stock report, stock accuracy report and over stock report.
 Prepare and analyze monthly scorecards to continually improve the forecast accuracy and stock availability.
 Preparation of documents (Invoice & Packing list, COO & Health certificate) for export shipments within GCC.
 Verifying import documents from suppliers and schedule container off loading’s based on priority and free days at the port.
 Raising claims with suppliers for damages, discrepancy & quality issues.
 Communicate to the business any risk of out of stock and ensure all relevant parties have timely and accurate availability information
 Work collaboratively with global FMCG and food suppliers on forecasts, purchases, and stock covers to deliver high levels of availability with optimal inventory. Lead the import clearance process and ensure smooth operations with zero tolerance on delays and non-compliance.
 Communicate actively with local and international suppliers to prevent out of stock risks from occurring and to recover from supply issues as soon as possible
 Keeping a track on the near expiry items and analyzing the reason for these slow-moving items and preparing an item wise/Brand wise report with 12 months trend of sales for these items and highlighting major customers for these items and forward the same to sales Team in order to push the item for sale.
 Handling of export of food items and co-ordinate with offshore suppliers and other related branches.

 Planning and Managing rolling 3 months forecast of stock by SKU based on in market demand for key clients like PF Chang’s, Pei Wei (UAE/Kuwait), Magnolia Bakery, Argo Tea, New York Pizzeria, Chopsticks - (UAE), Shake Shack, Potbelly, Fat Burger, UNO Chicago Grill, Marble Slab Creamery - (Kuwait)
 Key responsibilities include Item-Level Demand Forecasting and Supply Planning. Liaising with Global Suppliers for product availability.
 Participate in monthly S&OP discussions resulting in 12-month rolling consensus demand plans by product group focusing on future forecasts, capacity and the potential risks and opportunities
 Customer Stock Allocation in line with changing business priorities.
 Preparing the purchase plan and make regular adjustments, based on actual forecast and firm/additional orders, sales projection from the sales department.
 Responsible for an inventory budget of AED 10 million ensuring accurate stock rotation and cash flow.
 Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained (60 days stock in hand & 30 days stock in transit days in turn rate) while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
 Tracking of import shipments -by sea/air/road, approximately 20 containers per month.
 Accurate replenishment of short shelf life (3 to 9 months) food products.
 Prepare MIS on daily basis and also manage, control and check with issuing of all import documents.
 Meeting on a regular basis with customers, marketing and supply chain team to stay abreast of any instore promotions and offers to ensure stock availability during these periods of higher volume.
 Initiate additional volume requests (AVR’s) by clients during festive seasons.
 Prepare and share forecasted report with both internal and external clients and making sure that the forecasted stock is in alignment with agreed targets within Demand Planning and Forecast.
 Monitor on slow moving items and alert sales team on slow moving and near expiry items
 Follow up with Finance Department on supplier payments and making sure that LC is opened on time and documents are collected from Bank well in advance before the ETA in order to avoid demurrage (for LC/CAD/DA) and maintain adequate stock in hand and co-ordinate with logistic dept for Import/Export documentation and clearance.
