Review the firefighting, fire alarms, and life safety drawings as per NFPA 13, NFPA 14, SBC 201, SBC 801
standards and codes to be approved by local civil defense.
 Provide a comprehensive study regarding the required firefighting, fire alarms, life safety, and smoke
management systems as per NFPA and SBC codes.
 Conduct weekly site visits with the consultation team to supervise the accomplished work regarding the
firefighting, fire alarm, and smoke management systems by the contractor.
 Supervise and follow up with all safety work on the site such as safety plans, safety inductions, and toolboxes.
 Prepare the mechanical firefighting drawings, hydraulic calculations, and fire alarm electrical drawings.
 Inspect the site weekly visits to make sure that the fire alarm and firefighting connections and devices are
installed correctly.
 Inspect and test the firefighting system and fire alarm system which include the fire pumps.
 Formulate monthly reports concerning the accomplished and unaccomplished work including the accomplished
work percentage in fire alarm, firefighting, and life safety work.
 Arrange and prepare documents for RFI (request for information) or IR (inspection request).
 Prepare calculations related to the firefighting sprinkler Pump and the calculations for the smoke management.
