• Study business needs, objectives and process workflow to prepare annual IT plan, evaluate multiple solutions and possible suppliers or system integrator, plan implementation, manage project risks, manage stakeholders, and closely monitor performance until successful delivery of all deliverable.
• Revise implemented IT security against new threats, run penetration tests and monitor SIEM solution to identify possible improvements to secure IT systems and network.
• Manage backup and recovery, plan and implement high availability to business-critical systems.
• Manage and evaluate IT support engineers and technicians based on time-to-response, time-to-resolve, ability to address complex tasks, improvement & development. Find weaknesses and coordinate for related training.
• Manage major IT Systems and tasks like (vCenter, SIEM, Blade Servers, Storage Area Network, Core Switching, Firewall, Network Access Control, migration from local Exchange server to office 365)
• Source IT suppliers, system integrator and service contractors, evaluate their capabilities, review and negotiate contracts, monitor their performance and compliance to contracts.

• Preparing, installing and Managing MS Windows servers, MS Exchange servers and Database Servers (MS Exchange, DC, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, File server, print server, SQL Server)
• Performing various network up-gradation like highly-available L3 core switch, wireless mobility controller, network access control (NAC), wireless guest management, BYOD.
• Virtualization of all servers through VMware hypervisor on blade server and Storage Area Network (SAN). Virtualization of selected workstations through Citrix servers.
• Configuring, administrating, upgrading and backing-up multi-layer firewall.
• Improving the response time and level of support team, facilitating additional tools to support team and enabling dashboard report to management by implementing desktop management and help desk systems.
• Procuring, configuring and administrating PoE CCTV system.

• Prepare and develop a new material and experiments for “Computer Design Lab” based on FPGA chips.
• Teaching and giving exams for different labs and tutorials (OOP & Data Structures, Computer Design, Digital Circuits, Computer Architecture and Micro-processors).
• Research Assistant.
• Member of ‘engineering committee for conferences and tutorials’, ‘council of engineering college study plans’ & ‘council of computer engineering department”.
• Following up with expected graduates in the Department.
• One of the authors for constructing an online Computer Architecture Course for Avicenna Virtual University - FRANCE. Moreover, I was the Technical supporter for the software used in constructing this course and another course called Mechatronics Systems.
