Managing the corporate banking, (all type of facilities, including, L/C, IERS, FE-25, Murabaha, Pre & Post Shipment Finance, ETC.)
Ensure proper Costing of each item at the time of entering the GRV into the system, like inputted cost, custom charges, freight and insurance etc.,
Preparing budgets, financial reports, analyzing financial data, guiding the junior accountants in preparing accounts in accordance with accepted accounting and auditing principles and practices, organizing audits, and requirements, managing finances, and offering any financial advice as may be necessary to the manage.
Ensuring that the accounting procedures being followed as per law and accepted standard or policy. For example company follows accrual system of accounting, and then all transactions should be recorded in the same method.
Provide effective MIS Reports to Higher Management
Responsible for preparing and reviewing financial and management reports on variances from budget and provide analytical comments to the Management.
Complying with various laws, rules, and regulations that are applicable to the specific industry including accountancy and tax laws.
Setting up control procedures at various levels to ensure that the information in the accounts does not vary with physical verification
Maintaining the cash flow statement and working capital of the company.
Maintaining the Company accounts in Head Office by incorporating the financial data.
Managing the Cash flow of the company.
Collection from the Market to meet weekly target in order to manage working capital effectively.
Follow up on accounts receivables and prepare the monthly debtor’s status/ reports/aging analysis.
Handling all major bank reconciliation’s, vendor/accounts reconciliation’s and key accounting functions i.e. job costing etc.
Liaising with firm’s auditor by providing accurate reports for finalization of accounts.
Job planning and supervision including close interaction with client’s management, review of work on audit engagement and on-job professional development of staff;
Review of accounting and internal control systems and suggesting procedures for their improvement;
Frequent interaction with the client at the planning stage, during and at the finalization of Audit;
Developing and performing substantive and analytical procedures for audit so as to determine the reasonableness of the financial statements’ assertions;
Ensuring compliance with the requirements of International Standards of Auditing and other local requirements for audit engagements;
Analytical review of financial statements at the finalization stage of audit;
Advising management on accounting and related technical matters; and
Application of provisions of Corporate & Income tax laws.
Conducted physical verification of fixed assets, inventories, etc.
