TRA is responsible for regulating all aspects of telecommunication and information technology industries
in UAE.
lead and administer corporate network & systems; day-to-day IT Network management and support for two Enterprise Data centers and seven remote sites, one per
emirate, connected via multiprotocol label switching (MPLS). Driving powerful cost-saving negotiations with vendors to deliver IT projects
* Initiate and deliver IT portfolio plans for technology projects, AMCs and
new IT Assets (recurring 2+ Million AED)
* Delivered 24/7 on call support and handled remote administration to ensure round-the- clock service.
* Meet IT operations KPIs.
* Ensure high availability for all services
* Install, configure, troubleshoot & monitoring IT service desk calls related to corporate networks, servers, Wireless, IP Telephony, video conferencing and other applications.
* Plan schedules to implement health checks, upgrades, maintenance windows.
* Proactively monitor/analyse current devices health
* Performing periodic backups for the network devices.
* Oversee vendor & supplier activities throughout the projects lifecycle from initiation, to planning, execution.
* Documentation of new systems and services Guides, Network & Systems Layouts, Password Management, IP Addresses, Service Provider Network Links, hardware and software Assets, outage reports)
* Generate detailed call billing reports per users/departments
* Provided management with periodic reports on network activity
* Procurement of all IT related equipment and services.
* Comply with ISO 27001, ISO20000, ITIL. Enhance security for data and VoIP
* Develop & Mentor junior IT team members

1. Re-design the network, DC Core & IDF switches to serve as a centralized, scalable, and high available
