Planning and implementation of the company wide ISO 9001:2015 QMS quality management
system.
* Planning and implementation of the company wide OSHMS.
* Spear heading the testing and certification of products from international laboratories and local
authorities.
* Providing design and technical support for all products such as fire rated ventilation & smoke
extract duct, silencers, duct accessories.
* Conducting site meeting to give the technical support of products and inspection to check the
conformity of the fire rated duct system installation.
* Value stream mapping of the existing production flow to increase the productivity.
* Conducting internal quality audits and reports it.
* New Product design, development & costing .
* Design of acoustic silencer.
* Applying value engineering to cut down the cost.
* Maintenance management of the machines.
Managing the production of GI, PI, SS, fire rated and MS duct, duct accessories and air terminal
devices such as Louvers, grilles, diffusers, Sound Attenuators, Fire dampers, Volume dampers
and VAVs.
* Business development and coordination of testing and certification of new products such as non-
coated fire rated ducts, sound attenuators and Louvers.
* Lead and supervise the production team of 150 people to prioritize and produce jobs and, when
necessary, reorganize to meet deadlines changes and updates..
* Preparation, review and submission of technical submittals/prequalification
report/drawings/method statement/manufacturer’s catalogues with respect to project
requirements, requirements of authorities & standard practices to submission to
client/authorities,
* Communicate effectively with the general manager, sales teams, engineering and the
production team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that production, sales and
customer objectives are met.
* Coordinate with estimation team to review the drawing and fabricate the material in accordance
with the estimation and approved master drawing.
* Follow systems and procedures outlined in company manuals. Ensure company policies and
procedures are followed
* Planning and executing the production plan and realistic production schedule in the shop floor
for the best outcome.
* Organize workflow according to workload to meet delivery schedule and to complete assigned
jobs.
* Assessing project and resources requirements
* Introducing new products into the production line and providing in house training to the
personnel.
* Coordinating with Quality department for all aspects related to quality and rectifying problems to
deliver good quality product
* Monitor quality, accuracy and timeliness of all orders to ensure customer commitments are met
through production of high quality material that meets customer delivery expectation.
* Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
* Follow up of pre-determined maintenance activities of the machines.
* Ensure the completion of all duties with a minimum of waste and abuse to equipment/material.
* Coordinate and manage all the resources required for the smooth running of the production.
* Developing new processes / improving existing ones to enhance quality of operations
* Planning effective manpower deployment and promoting them to next level for company growth.
To handle production & materials planning, shipment follow up & order processing coordinate with
internal sales department for the timely and successful completion of job in hand, answer queries
concerning delivery commitment, assembly and production status.
* Design of sound attenuator according to National Environmental Balancing Bureau’s “Sound
and Vibration Design and Analysis”
* Design and selection of air outlets, VAVs (variable air volume boxes) and duct accessories
such as volume dampers, fire dampers, back draft damper to fulfill the desirable performance
criteria set by the contractor.
* Selection of air terminal devises such as grilles, diffusers, louvers.
* Examining and verifying the compliance of products with contractors drawing, specifications
and addresses should there be any deviations.
* Site visits to assist the customer in clarifying the uncertainties related to the company’s
product.
* Follows up with Project manager & project coordinators for timely completion of projects & resolve
the site issues.
* Coordinating with sales and marketing team.
* Scrutinize and evaluate BOQs, coordinate with management for negotiating with the buyers.
* Assist the company in various certification programs related to industry specific standards
* Provide technical clarification to customers.
* Assist the production department in making custom made products.
* Inspection of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products to ensure conformity with
accepted standards and procedures
* Control of non-conforming material or products and its documentation after eliminating the
root cause.
* Timely calibration of instruments and its documentation to meet the QMS requirements.
Manages and oversees the work of subordinate staff, sub-contractors, for compliance with
the requirements of Bharath Heavy Electrical Limited standards & Protocol.
* Overseeing and guiding the erection of electro static precipitator, an integral unit of thermal
power plant with a team of 40 persons.
* Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people
and operatives;
* Reviewing the construction drawing and guiding the sub-contractors.
* Monthly erection forecasting to effectively run the erection and to procure the materials
beforehand.
* ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
* Quality inspection of erected parts to ascertain quality of welding.
* Assist the subcontractors in doing the erection in accordance with BHEL protocols and
drawing.
* Timely allocation of requisite items to expedite the progress of the erection without any
undesirable halt.
* Assist the subcontractors to assign tasks to the employees to finish it in an organized
manner.
* Arrange periodic meeting with consultant and contractor to proactively address the issues
that might hinder the progress of erection.
