I Joined GIH, an Islamic investment company, in the year 1998 as an Executive Secretary to the Vice Chairman & MD. Later I was transferred to its Chairman’s office. I was also reporting to the Board of Directors through our Board Secretary. Presently I am the Office Manager to the Chief Executive Officer and also handles matters related to Board meeting.
Good knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
Providing complete administrative & secretarial services including typing, filing and mailing.
Attending to daily office procedures email/phone/fax enquiries.
Answer telephone, take messages and direct incoming calls appropriately.
Maintain office files - electronic and hard copy & correspondence.
Arrange for the business meeting internally and externally.
Coordinate with Board Members to arrange Board, Executive & Audit Committee meetings.
Assisting to prepare minutes of meeting.
Prepare travel arrangements, schedules and appointments.
Screen incoming mail and telephone calls, draft responses, redirect correspondence.
Prepare internal / external correspondence.
Receive guests & visitors.
Processing general correspondence, calendar, fixing appointments and other agendas.
Handles any other tasks within the department
Worked as an Executive Secretary in its Direct Investments Department for six years.
All routine works as its secrecary from correspondence to filing. The close working with Direct Investment Department also helped to increase my knowledge and familiarize the activieis of DID with my background in 'Economics' study.
