• Validate that received materials on-site are approved and align with project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure meticulous inspection of equipment, pipes, and pipe components upon receipt.
• Oversee the installation of equipment for LPG and SNG systems, including various components such as pumps, compressors, blenders, vaporizers, and tanks.
• Supervise the installation of piping, encompassing pipes, fittings, valves, and instruments.
• Interpret and analyze Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) and isometric drawings.
• Execute construction activities in accordance with approved Method of Statement (MOS) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Strategize resource allocation to efficiently complete project tasks.
• Uphold stringent adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Health & Safety protocols at the site.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively to the site team.
• Ensure compliance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) during welding operations.
• Conduct visual inspections and dimensional checks to ensure precise alignment and fitment of piping components.
• Monitor Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) results, such as Radiography tests (RT), to identify welding imperfections.
• Rectify any identified defects or issues promptly.
• Facilitate communication and coordination with project stakeholders.
• Engage in effective communication with project leads, fellow engineers, and laborers.
• Proactively oversee pipe spool fabrication, erection, and pipe support installation based on the latest issued drawings.
• Manage surface preparation and painting of piping.
• Perform touch-up painting on equipment to address damaged paint areas.
• Maintain meticulous records, including reports, drawings, and documentation pertaining to the project.
• Master the study and interpretation of general layout, 2D, and 3D drawings.
• Collaborate with management to optimize the available and required resources.
• Strategically plan the execution of tasks based on resource availability.
• Directly supervise construction activities on the project, ensuring alignment with approved MOS, ITP, and drawings.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols to safeguard workers, equipment, and the environment.
• Ensure punctual delivery of assigned tasks.
• Proactively manage both available and required resources.
• Ensure fabrication, welding, and erection adhere to approved designs and standards.
• Guarantee welding procedures adhere to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Employ methods that minimize defects in joints.
• Validate the precise alignment and fitment of pipes and fittings.
• Oversee the installation and testing of heat shrink coating post-welding joint completion.
• Optimize the utilization of equipment, labor, and materials.
• Provide daily progress reports and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Address on-site issues promptly and troubleshoot any unexpected challenges.
• Prepare pipelines for pigging/cleaning operations.
• Execute hydro testing and pneumatic testing procedures
