Responsible for all library functions, which include staff and user training and supervision, annual budget, report writing, and collection development.
- Maintain the annual resources budget.
- Teach one course per semester in information literacy and references.
- Create literature guides to assist users in locating specific materials.
- Collaborate with faculty to incorporate print and electronic resources into their curriculum.
- Promote library services and resources to faculty and students, coordinate campus-wide tutoring services through the library-based Learning Enrichment Center.
- Plan and deliver information literacy classroom instruction to each incoming student.

- Perform collection development and acquisitions with a strong emphasis on health and medical resources.

- Launch the smart reference service using AI technologies (ChatBot).
- Launch HBMSU academic repositories.

Responsible for day-to-day operations, supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff.
- Provide information and recommendations to the Board of Deans.
- Respond to reference inquiries.
- Resolve operational needs and pursue opportunities for growth of library services,
collections, and programs.

- Write full university libraries policy and procedures.
- Teach academic courses.

Responsible for day-to-day library operations and reference services.
- Check in, check out, and renew library materials using automated system.
- Train staff and users to use and access library systems.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual library statistics.

- Review and select new books and other resources for collection development.
- Perform administrative functions, including check-ins, coding of new materials, order processing, and managing interlibrary loans.
- Generate and distribute different administrative reports.
- Manage ready-reference and reserve materials, including pamphlets and selected serials.

Provide reference services from a central reference desk to students, faculty, and other patrons.
- Serve as liaison librarian to the central university library.
