• Ordered and imported 50, 000+ tons of raw material and PVC and HDPE accessories per year from Turkey, USA, Italy, and France for the production of Water and electricity pipes of different diameters and specifications.
• Ensured the seamless entry of goods to the country by complying with customs rules and regulations in collaboration with Bollore Africa (Known as AGL Logistics today).
• Responsible for the exportation of final products and arrival to designated countries in collaboration with Bollore Africa (Known as AGL Logistics today).
• Controlled stock of raw material and checked for needed material quantities according to orders.
• Led the automation of processes to reduce paper use and minimize errors.
• Completed rotation in the accounting, Import and Export departments.
• Loading, unloading, and moving freight between delivery and storage areas as instructed.
• Coordinating the movement of freight with other workers via radio communication.
• Scanning or documenting freight, as well as marking items with identifying information.
• Moving freight manually or with specialized machinery, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking freight at specified locations using boards or pallets.
• Preventing damage to transported freight by using protective devices such as padding and straps.
• Adhering to weight restrictions, as well as stabilizing and guiding lifted freight with slings and hooks.
• Enters data entry on Integral and Sage X3 Software that help the company to manage the quality control, sales, inventory, and financials aspects of the raw material and PVC and HDPE accessories ordered.
