In my current role, I serve as a dedicated educator with specialized experience in the South African CAPS curriculum for students aged 6 to 11. My primary responsibilities include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with CAPS guidelines, ensuring comprehensive coverage of educational standards and objectives. I am proficient in creating grade-appropriate question papers and assessments to evaluate student progress effectively. Additionally, I provide personalized tutoring sessions outside regular hours to support students' understanding and mastery of curriculum concepts. As an active member of various school committees, including sports, fundraising, and entertainment, I contribute to fostering a well-rounded school community. My role extends to participating in the LTSM (Learner Teaching Support Materials) committee, where I collaborate on improving teaching resources and materials to enhance the learning experience for students.
In my previous role as a maternity leave substitute teacher, I assumed temporary responsibility for delivering high-quality education in alignment with the South African curriculum. During this period, I effectively managed classroom dynamics and maintained a positive learning environment conducive to student engagement and academic growth.
