SIP Transport Layer with TLS Support is an R&D based project where the TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocol is integrated with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). The main purpose is to provide security at transport level. The signaling packets will be encrypted.

The technologies used in the project were TCP/UDP, networking concepts.

The special feature used in the project:

•Providing interface to OSIP stack using core transport layer
•Providing TLS Support to SIP stack transport module.

Key Challenges
Exploring SIP protocol and new security related mechanism and making the application platform independent.
Roles & Responsibilities
•R&D on TLS support to sip protocol,
•Involved in preparation of Use Case Scenarios, HLD and LLD.
•Handled Transport module.
•Involved in the “System Testing” of the Application.

•Worked on Testing of several communication devices NOKIA (N 70, N 9500 Communicator, 6131, 6280), SONY Ericsson (K70i, K80i, K850i) devices.
•The technologies involved in the project were J2ME for development and “Bluetooth” for the transfer of the jar file to the mobile devices for testing.
•The special feature of the application is that it must be able to run on all the mobile devices and user must be able to chat with ease.
•Key challenges faced during the project were the transfer of the jar file to the mobile devices and get the application running.

Main Contribution if any: Tested the application rigorously on NOKIA devices and found out several bugs, providing value add to the application by suggesting some features that can be implemented to make the application more robust

The application provides a white drawing board for a user to paint on series 60 5th edition mobile devices.

Main features of the application
•Application will have a user friendly environment and user finds it as easy as it was to paint on
“Desktop” machines. Application resembles the MS Paint in Widows so that user can use it
very easily.
•Four basic shapes like line, circle, rectangle and polygon are supported for drawing with four
thickness levels. Undo and redo operations are provided up to depth of three levels.
•Cut, copy and paste operations are implemented to make paint operation very interesting.
•Drawn picture can be stored into three file formats like bmp, jpg and gif and most colors are
provided so that user can make use of his favorite color in drawing.
•This application is multilingual application, which supports five languages.

•Design of the “Test cases” for the application
•Test the application by making the device to perform multiple tasks at a time (for
Example painting along with playing music in background, painting along with the
usage of the camera of the device, switching between the camera application of the
application and the device default camera, call arrives when painting etc)
•Tested the application rigorously on NOKIA 5800 Express Music finding out several bugs
providing value add to the application (ex camera switching from NOKIA ovi store) to make
the application more robust

access the data (of student or staff) for which he/she has appropriate rights.

•Key challenges in the application were to test for the proper working and alignment on all the devices.

•Rigorous testing in all possible different scenarios in the 5 different mobile devices.
•Tested the application rigorously on “I-phone” and “Blackberry 8120 & 8310” devices
and found out several bugs, providing value add to the application by suggesting
some features so that the application can be made more user friendly.

Description:
The application allows the user to access “TELNET”, “SMTP” and “FTP” servers on mobile devices and perform operations on it.

Main features of the application
•The special feature used in the project: is that the application allows the user to access “TELNET”, “SMTP” and “FTP” servers on mobile devices and perform operations on it.
•The application is developed using J2ME technology.
•User with proper access rights can access the application by keying in his user name and password. User can then perform all the operations that can be performed on the “TELNET” server.
•A few operations on “SMTP & FTP” servers could also be performed.
Roles & Responsibilities
•Design of the “Test cases” for the application, rigorous testing of the application for all possible different scenarios in the two different mobile devices.
•Key Challenges: in the application was the verification for the different types of commands that could be performed on the mobile devices for the different servers.
•Tested the application rigorously on “SONY Ericsson w880i” and “NOKIA E70” devices and found out several bugs, providing value add to the application by suggesting several features so that the application can be made more user friendly.

•Allows for the user to create different kinds of property for example office, Residential, Retail, Multifamily etc.

•Key Challenges: in the application was the derivation of formulas to calculate the different financial aspects related to the Real estate domain.
•Calculation of the values for periods beyond the expiration term of the Tenant.
