• Quantity surveying and procurement of Electrical, ELV and Fire alarm systems.
• Technical clarification on RFQ with project manager and senior design engineers
• Check all commercial clauses of contract viz. terms of payment advance payment.
• Preparation of cost implication & dealing with consultant for the approval.
• Follow up with the Consultant & Client for certification of the payments.
• Attending for the Monthly Progress Meeting of Projects.
• Preparing Sub Contract payment certificates & dealings.
• Assisting for preparation of As-built drawings to the Project team.
• Preparation of reports (MS, MIR, IR) related to the projects.
• Design, installation, testing and commissioning of Mv/Lv switchgear panels.
• Supply of synchronizing panels for Gensets & conducting load bank tests.
• Drawing up plans using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
• Coordinating technicians and craftspeople for electrical and ELV installations.
• Making sure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations.
• Overseeing inspection of Electrical & Elv systems and maintenance programs.
• Testing installations and systems, and analyzing data.
• QA/QC for all electrical installations.
Mecon Systems is specialized in engineering works like Manufacturing & Designing Electrical Panel Boards and has most of the circuits design under the belt. Also the main supplier for VOLTAS LTD for Mining & Construction Equipment division & SANDVIK ASIA LTD, TERREX for Mining & Construction Equipment division for power & control panels designing.
Responsibilities:
* Analyzing the customer's requirement and estimating the time, cost and material
* Designing the power and control panels and getting approval from the senior management on the go ahead of the same into production
* Editing the programming for plant operations into the PLC
* Testing & Commissioning of the panels before dispatch
* Feeding the Programming in the Soft Starters and VFD, as per the customer's recommendation or settings recommended by ABB / L&T application support department
* Creating and Submitting the test reports for control and relay panels and individual main relays
* Designing, Testing & Commissioning and giving Training for Panel Operation at customer's premises and making customer's to understand about the product functions and its features.
