• Developed and experimented with different robotic systems for FBE coating application according to industrial
standards as laid down by the Kuwait Oil Company using Arduino and TI Hercules Microcontrollers
• Developed a Robot to detect Holidays and measure the Dry Film Thickness of an FBE coated pipe
• Developed Special Camera modules for use in Harsh and extreme operation conditions for FBE blasting
operations.
• Created High Power Bipolar Stepper Motor Drives andHigh Power H-Bridges for Brushless DC and Brushed DC
Motors.
• Developed Wireless Sensor Control Systems & secure communication platforms using Xbee wireless modules.
• Designed and created different user friendly control hardware for the above systems.
• Designed and conducted different data collection procedures for use in experiments and evaluate current robotic
systems to analyze requirements to decide and improve on concepts and designs.
Developed an excel based program to enable ABB to compete for Tenders in a real time Environment. Enabled
the user to easily enter the required information and then create a competitive tender using enhanced real time
analysis of the information as specified by the user. It would allow the user to quickly get cost estimates by using
real time copper and lead prices directly from the London Metal Exchange and international currency rates and
incorporate the new values into the proposed tender by the click of a button. The tool also allowed the user to try
out different what-if analysis for e.g. effect of paying in different currency or changing suppliers to the tender.
Created documentation for the tool by preparing a PowerPoint presentation to initiate new users and an
application datasheet for more information regarding the tool.
