Job Profile:
Responsible for the quality of In-house & outsourced fabric (Woven, Knitted) as per customer specification.
To inspect the products for defect and overall workmanship during in process and final stages, checking quality against reference sample or other customer’s approved standard / criteria.
Visual inspection and measurement of finished products against customer’s standard / criteria.
To approved the first pieces for bulk production.
Follows all required procedures established by company and customer. Represents the company in professional and ethical manner.
Evaluate the properties of finished product and associated materials/ raw materials against the Ril / customer’s standard or specification.
Work closely with Production & R&D team to bring about efficiency improvement by identifying bottlenecks and ensuring elimination of the same.
Part of CFT to maintain / control rejection, rework control & its root cause analysis.
Problem solving activities (Root Cause Analysis) to improve the Quality & Fresh %.
Meeting Customers to understand the Quality for continuous improvement, handling customer complaints & to ensure closure of complaints with proper CAPA / RCA as needed.
Drive Supplier / Vendor development by continuous providing them feedback and sharing the information on best practices related to quality.
Plan supplier quality audits and evaluates supplier performance, development in co-ordination with key stakeholders.
To Prepare the Job Break down Sheet and provide the training to the concern persons.
To coordinate the Quality Circle projects.
To conduct improvement trial and conclude its results.
To prepare 8D, 5-Phase sheets for Rejections & customer complaints.
Responsible for the internal Process and Product Audit, MSA audit.
Preparing & maintaining the documents related to TS 16949 / ISO 9000.
To maintain 5S in the department & Do KAIZEN for the continual improvement.

• TPM, Use of 7 Quality Tools.
• Coordinate many weaving and Lamination improvement projects .
• Problem solving activities. Quality improvement projects
• Prepare PFMEA and Control Plan
• CTQ Point (Critical to Quality) Implementation & Validation, Coordinate Quality circle activity, fill the A3 Sheet as per Internal Rejection problem, JM / Kaizen / Improvement Projects. MOC & JI Audit, .
• 8D according to customer complains.
• Managing production activities right from the conceptualization stage to the procurement, scheduling, and progress monitoring and planning for marketing ensuring timely delivery of the product.
• Internal Safety audit, ISO/TS audit, Maintenance audit activities.
• Trainings to workers regarding JBS (Job Break down Sheet) & 5 ‘S’ and 5 ‘S’ management work.
• Knowledge of following testing instruments i.e. Wrap Reel, Twist Tester, Martindale abrasion & pilling tester, Stretch & Set apparatus, Seam fatigue test, Bending length testing, Air Permeability tester, Surface abrasion tester, Bursting Tester, Snag mace tester, Twist Tester, Thickness gauge, Water repellant test, Coefficient of friction tester, Rubbing tester etc.
