Roles and Responsibilities:

 Pre commissioning and Loop checking of field instruments such as Pressure transmitter (SMART), Flow transmitter (Orifice, Venturi, Electro-magnetic, Mass flow, Annubar), level transmitter(SMART DP Type, Radar, Ultrasonic type), Temperature transmitter(RTD, Thermocouple), Pressure switches, Level Switches smoke detectors, gas detectors and Calibration of control valves, solenoid valves and motorized valve commissioning.
 Supervision of Calibration of field instruments such as Pressure switches, Pressure transmitter, Flow transmitter, level transmitter, Temperature transmitter and Pressure gauges .
 Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, Diagrams, Technical specifications for commission of the plant.
 Supervision of basic & detail engineering documents like P & I diagrams, Instrument specifications sheets(ISS), logic diagrams, Instrument loop diagram(ILD), cable schedule, cable test report(IR), Instrument location plans(IPL), hook-up drawings, Loop tuning etc.

Key Accomplishments:

 Troubleshooting and Loop checking Field Instruments of HART and FF (FOUNDATION FIELDBUS) Instruments..
 Testing, Installation, Loop checking, Functional test, Pre-commissioning, commissioning and hand-over to customer.
 As Built the drawings like Cross wiring, P&ID, ILD, ISS and Termination Drawing, Instrument Location Diagram etc., as per construction Requirement.
 Conducting SAT(Site Acceptance Test).
 Involved in troubleshooting & Loop checking of DCS, ESD, FGS based signals
 Involved in testing & commissioning of TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instruments) - 3500 Series of Bently Nevada (Vibration and Speed )for turbine control

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Commissioning and Operation and maintenance of Turbine Instrumentation (SIEMENS TURBINE) which includes DEH(Digital Electro Hydraulic) Governing System of ABB Symphony-Harmony..
 Implementation of control scheme such as PRDS and HP Bypass and Turbine protection scheme for Steam Turbine.
 Commissioning and calibration of boiler related SWAS instruments including pH, O2, silica, sodium, conductivity analyzers.
 Involved in testing & commissioning of TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instruments) - 3500 Series of Bently Nevada
for turbine control.
 Involved in testing & commissioning of ETS (Emergency Trip Device) for turbine control.
 Testing, Installation, Erection, Commissioning and O&M Loop checking, pre-commissioning, commissioning and hand-over to customer.
 Observation of process, Operation, automation and control of various installed instrument and its related preventive& breakdown rectification.
 Compliance to preventive maintenance of Water system, HVAC & Calibration of all field instruments.
 Organizing work schedules, redesign work and project management and associated paperwork.

Technical Background:

 Successful completion of 2 X 35MW (CFBC boiler) Thermal Power Plant at Gummidipundi in Chennai.
 Involved in Commissioning and Operation and Maintenance of all field instruments such as Pressure switches, pressure transmitter (SMART), Flow transmitter (Orifice, Venturi, Electro-magnetic, Mass flow, Annubar), level transmitter(SMART DP Type, Radar), Level Switches and Calibration of control valves, Pressure gauges, solenoid valves.
 Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications for commission and maintenance of the plant.
 Commissioning and Maintenance of Water treatment plant(WTP), Ash handling system(AHS), Burner management system(BMS), Electrostatic precipitator(ESP), Coal handling system(CHS) and Pneumatic compressors etc.,
 Handled internal calibration of all Electro Pneumatic Control Valves, PID Sensor/Temperature Controllers, SMPS & other electronic based components in panel.
 Supervision of basic & detail engineering documents like P & I diagrams, GA Drawings, Isometric Drawings, data sheets, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, junction box detail, cable schedule, cable tray drawings, Instrument location plans, hook-up drawings etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Commissioning and O&M of Turbine Instrumentation (Dong Fang Steam Turbine) which includes DEH
(Digital Electro Hydraulic) Governing System of ABB Symphony-Harmony.
 Commissioning and O&M of WTP, AHS, FHS & ACC Instrumentation which includes Commissioning of
Ovation DCS (Emerson).
 Implementation of control scheme such as PRDS and HP Bypass and Turbine protection scheme for Steam
Turbine.
 Commissioning and calibration of boiler related SWAS instruments including pH, O2, silica, sodium, conductivity analyzers.
 Involved in testing & commissioning of Ovation OCR 400 Emerson DCS.
 Involved in testing & commissioning of TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instruments) - 3500 Series of Bently Nevada
for turbine control.
 Involved in testing & commissioning of ETS (Emergency Trip Device) for turbine control.

 Testing, Installation, Erection, Commissioning and O&M, Loop checking, pre-commissioning, commissioning and hand-over to customer.
 Development of logics, Graphics in the Ovation Control Builder (Basic only).
 Relative knowledge of OCR400 Controller processing of Emerson.
 PLC : Erection and commissioning and O&M involved in
• Fire Fighting system : GE Fanuc 90-30 Series
• ESP : Allen Bradley Compact Logics L32E
• Compressor : Allen Bradley Panel view 300 Micro.

Technical Background:

 Successfully commissioned one project of 2x150 MW, Beawar which includes commissioned of BMS, FHS, AHS, ESP, WTP, ETP and Fire Fighting System.
 Supervision of Calibration of Field instruments such as Pressure switches, pressure transmitter, flow
transmitter, level transmitter and pressure gauges & Calibration of control valves, solenoid valves, power cylinder, regulated power cylinder, motorized valve commissioning.
 Reviewing engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, technical specifications for commission of the plant.
 Supervision of basic & detail engineering documents like P & I diagrams, specifications, data sheets, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, junction box detail, cable schedule, cable tray drawings, Instrument location plans, hook-up drawings, Loop tuning etc.
