 Prepared Workshop layout drawings, Engineers Offices and dormitories.
 Supervision of Installation of Rail Track for Gantry Crane.
 Supervision of Welding Works involved in assembling and installation of hydraulic gate
equipment. Major responsibilities include:
- Visual examination of work in progress and effective supervision of repair
procedures.
- Inspection of use of filler material depending on the base material so as they comply
approved welding procedures.
- Checking and quality inspection of welded joints during technical process and control
results.
- Checking and inspection of welds so as they should be performed in compliance with
Approved welding procedure (WPS).
- Coordination of welding activities for processes: SMAW, SAW, GMAW.
- Ensure that all Welding operations are executed in safe working environment and
implementation of standard welding rules.
- Inspection of welded joint geometries.
- Supervision of welding procedures tests and monitor welding works at site.
Inspection of welds before, during and after welding.
- Ensure implementation of Standard and Approved welding procedures.
- Ensure implementation of Standard Welding Safety Rules at site.
 Conducted Inspection of Welding Works using following NDT Techniques:
- Radiographic Technique
- Ultrasonic Technique
- Dye-Penetration Technique
 Monitored Anti Corrosion techniques Grit Blasting & Painting using Swedich Standards
Sa 2.5, Sa 3 & ISO 8501:7
 Supervision of Paint Adhesion / Pull off & Holiday Test for Steel Liner epoxy paint.
 Supervision of erection and commissioning activities at site.
 Supervision of QA/QC activities at site
 Conducted Inspection of Installed equipments which includes:
- Dimensional Checks
- Survey / Alignment checking
- Installation Methodology
 Responsible to Review:
- Drawings / Design
- Design Calculations
- Method Statements
 Assist Resident Engineer in:
- IPC (Payment Certificates) verification of Mechanical Works.
- Project Coordination with Client & Contractor.
- Technical issues
 Preparation of Technical Reports / Letters.
 Supervise the installation of commissioning of special designed hydraulic transportation
trolleys, transporter, gantry cranes used for the installation of liners
 Reviewed the drawings of Mechanical Equipment under the supervision of Design Team
Leader - DTL
 Responsible to conduct the PQR and WPQR under the supervision of Resident Engineer.
 Drafting the Project Completion Report - PCR of my department.
 Preparing Daily, Weekly, Monthly Progress Report of the executed works.
 Member of HSE Committee from Consultants.
 Auditing and Report any HSE negligence observed during Construction activities at Site.
 Conducted Site inspections of the delivered Material, Equipment or plant from China.
 Counter balancing the contractor’s manifest/weaknesses.
 Provide Expertise in Steel Liner and mechanical equipment installation in Tunnel &
power house. Also involve planning, scheduling, monitoring and project control
activities.
 Drafting Technical, Commercial, Administrative and Financial letters to the Contractor.
 Conducted and attended various meeting with the Stakeholders to review the project
progress, on risk management, HSE Implementations etc.
 Responsible to review and verify the contractor’s Estimations and Variation order and
Claims in accordance with the Contract Clause(s).
 Certifying the Contractor’s IPC for the Completed works or stage wise payment.
 Briefing the technical / learning site visits / delegations reading on going site activities

I have enjoyed a progressively responsible engineering career with Associated Consulting Engineers at Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric Project (969 MW Hydroelectric Project) and participated in Fabrication & Installation of Penstock (1.6 km). I am well experienced in all Welding, Non-Destructive Testing & Painting. I have supervised the Installation, Assembling, Welding& Non-destructive Testing of Penstock 182 m below the river.

I have been involved in reviewing the shop drawings, method statement for fabrication, reviewing of WPS & PQR for welding.

Additionally I have spent more than 12000 minutes on inspection of Ultrasonic Testing of welds following the ASME Section VIII D1 & AWS D1.1.I have interpreted more than 500 Radiographs of weld following ASME Section V & ASME VIII D1.

In addition, I have inspected the Grit Blasting using Standard Sa 2.5 & Painting using standard SSPC-SP6.I have a sound knowledge about the Holiday Testing of Paint.

Supervised the installation Gantry Cranes & Trolleys, Fabrication & Galvanizing of Debris traps.
