Responsible for driving partnership and business growth with automotive aftermarket parts distributors in their designated regions.
Establish and maintain relationship with potential distributors to address the futuristic growth.
Develop a strong, structured and disciplined approach in managing a distributor; build together a solid growth
plan in the country of responsibility.
Managing distributor performance to achieve annual sales targets.
Develop standard work, Distributor Management Process (DMP) for distributors.
Define and support in business development activities (trade shows, databases, mailing campaigns).
Identify commercial and technical training needs, coordinate training with the Marketing team.
Develop and Implement strategies for growth defined with clearly mapped out opportunities for the short,
medium and long term.
Analyze, present and manage strategic growth initiatives.
Develop and expand relationships with existing and potential Customers and maintain close relationships with key Customers.
My work profile
The responsibilities were of two fold - (1) responsibility to establish the procurement policies/procedures and
supplier base for the new startup division - aircraft refueler and (2) responsible for parts business development
especially in Far East & African regions and to achieve sales growth.
Developed and implemented procurement strategies for the new Aircraft Refueler division.
Ensured that proper sources of supply are evaluated and selected to support the business needs,
Negotiated master services, confidentiality, service standards, and other supplier agreements based on
company policies,
Managed the sales team and ensured timely submission of quotes and order follow-ups with customers
Met assigned sales quota by acquiring new customer accounts and renewing and growing existing
relationships.
Developed and enforced pricing policies targeted at balancing the volume of business, ensuring customer’s
loyalty.
