Under the supervision of the Polio Team Leader, Finance and Administrative Officer and the overall supervision of the WHO Representative, my role is to receive requests for supplies, check it according to WHO rules & regulations, proceed with request according to WHO check list procedures; follow up with different stakeholders the receipt of supplies and equipment. Work is assigned by supervisors who give instructions on non-routine matters. Routine tasks are performed independently with some discretion in non-routine matters related to office procedures only. The incumbent will undertake the following duties:
In collaboration with the procurement unit, initiate procurement of goods and services using Global Management System (GSM), follow up with concerned parties' customs clearance, receipt of deliverable and finalization of payments.
Procurement Planning & Management, Review budgets and developing procurement strategies for Bulk material. Coordinate with clearing agent to ensure timely availability of material at site. Managing entire store & purchase operations with a view to achieve business objectives and ensure bottom line profitability. Procurement Process. Prepare documents for payments along with complete supporting documentation (Approved Purchase Order, Vendor Invoices, and Goods Delivery Notes etc.
Develop and maintain and efficient system to anticipate and forecast needs, monitor, distribute and order office supplies and stationery for the WHO office.
Organize and maintain Travel management for WHO Pakistan with travel agencies for both domestic and international travel as required.
Maintain one single inventory of the WHO office and the sub-offices and arrange for periodic/annual verification and annual submission of duly verified and signed inventory records to EMRO. Ensure all inventoried items are appropriately tagged. Make recommendations and take action for the disposal of items as required after approval of the Regional Property survey Committee.
Proficient in good market analysis skill performing quality assurance and food safety checks at manufacturing process having training skill of all the above having vast experience of on spot sampling of grains and pulses perform food safety and standardization audits on food items as per WFP SOP perform inspections on raw food materials to ensure food safety.

Plan and implement plan for improvement in technical capacity of Mill working with WFP. Monitor and report on WFP food stocks in operations and prepare weekly stock report. Carry out all the Logistic Activities and supervising milling activity in Flour Mills Islamabad.
Plan and implement plan for improvement in technical capacity of mills working with WFP through improvement measures in compliance with international standards;
Coordinate and manage deliveries by suppliers, clearing agents and WFP warehouses; monitor and assess quality, quantity and safety of the goods coordinate clearance of WFP, export/import in liaison with handlers and customs officials.
Initiate action for requests for duty exemptions on all WFP imported shipments, food and non-food items.
Establish contacts with shipping agents, clearing agents and superintendents and monitor the discharge of WFP vessels (rail, air or sea), advising supervisors of need for intervention in case of any unforeseen problems pertaining to discharge and/or clearing operations.
Led financial operations of firm: Directed, planned, and supervised financial department and its interface with other departments, clients, financial organizations and authorities fiscal management - planned, organized and managed monetary functions including financial reporting, budgeting, contracts, purchasing, payroll processing, and property management.
