Trainee Engineer
• Ensuring the activities performed are in line with the specification, method of statements and drawing requirements as suggested by the client
• Documenting check list for inspection and testing after studying project specification, drawings, etc.
• Visiting site on a regular basis to confirm if the work is in accordance with approved drawings and reporting to the higher management, if there is any non-compliance
• Acting as Area In-charge for supervising the operations of entire site
• Drafting RFI/IRF and other documents as & when required and submitted the same
• Involved in conducting site inspection with Quality team and consultant
• Liaising with main contractors/suppliers/sub-contractors for inspection& test activities as well as for being assured that the site is ready for final inspection by the consultant
• Generating various reports of site accomplishments on a daily/weekly basis & snagging report and submitting the same to higher management to abreast them about the current status
• Responsible for preparing site schedule, program and estimating the quantity of materials needed at site to ensure smooth workflow
• Inspecting materials received from Supplier and informing supplier and the management about the non-compliance of the specifications, if any
• Monitoring the entire material storage area to ensure it is safe & as per storage procedure from the manufacturer
• Maintaining all quality records & handing over its original documents to the documentation department
• Preparing program of work for all projects and directing teams to finish the projects, with accountability of strategic
utilization of available resources
• Steering the efforts in project management cycle entailing requirement gathering, reviewing drawings, preparing feasibility reports & master project plan, project estimates and cash flow projections for taking administrative approval of the client/ management
• Supervising projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of the projects
• Reviewing architectural working drawings, engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates for change orders
• Coordinating the entire construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction/site activities with related consultants technical inputs
• Attending meetings with contractor to comply / resolve all the site issues
