• Coordination with various departments in Head Office and Plants of Production, dispatch, accounts, taxation, Sales & Marketing, and Accounts department for various MIS reports, Budgeting, Business Planning and Financial Analysis.
• Responsible for making Business Plan with coordination of Plants Procurement, Production, Electrical, Dispatch, Marketing and Accounts departments. This involves draft of projected Production and Sale parameters with projected cost of manufacturing, fixed cost, selling cost and over-all profitability of Cement division (plant wise).
• Involved in consolidation of Budget for the year of Cement division by coordinating with Plants and finalization of Budget for each site with approval of management for effective running of plants by making regular payments for raw materials and other suppliers.
• Expertise in developing and formulating MIS & Cost Monitoring reports(Management Reports and presentations) for monitoring movement of key business indicators to facilitate decision making and fruitful dissemination of information regarding monthly turnover, profitability, etc., by coordination with plants/sites.
• Responsible for Balance Sheet consolidation and profitability reporting of JAL- Cement Division Plants on monthly basis.
• Market research and comparison with company’s actual.
• Preparation of reports as and when required by Ministry of India for basis of productivity, profitability or efficiency of Cement Division.
• Involved in coordination with various divisions such as Electrical, Civil, Production, Dispatch, Accounts etc. for the preparation of Budget for sites (DCF, CCF, JP Super) on monthly basis. The budget is prepared on the basis of expected cost to be incurred through the process of manufacturing which broadly includes payments for raw materials and running expenses.
• Looked after the responsibility pertaining to preparation of Cost Monitoring Report of DCF site which is an consolidated efficiency monitoring guide for management of Cement and CPP plant. This report projects both the optimum performance measure/ratios of Machines and Equipments and actual input to output measure. This report involves collection of information from Procurement, Production, Electrical, Dispatch of actual purchase, production, consumption and dispatch data and consolidating in the form of report with ratio analysis.
• Coordination with Procurement, Production, Electrical, Dispatch, Accounts department for data required to prepare MIS report, which is an alternative financial report showing the profitability of site. The report presents cost of input materials used in the preparation of Clinker/ Cement in Quantity, Amount and Rate, fixed cost involved, final cost of preparation of Cement(end product), selling cost and profitability of site.
• Management of Information System (MIS), Weekly fund requirement/proposal assessment according to budget approved from head office.
• Prepared reports and done presentation for meeting at any level of organization.
• Handled Inter-Unit power consumption, transaction, and sale monitoring.
• Was accountable for Power profitability assessment and comparative cost assessment of different sources of power such as Diesel Generator, Captive Power Plant and through State Power.
